I know I've gotten old and jaded.  I used to really like football.  I loved MNF with Howard, Don and Frank.  I didn't even mind Al and Jon.  

I tried to watch some of both games tonight.  



Game one, Jets and Detroit.  Don't care about either team.  Couldn't even let it be background noise because they had that abominable gravel voiced woman in the booth.  Beth whateverthehellhernameis.  Have they not gotten the message that she's AWFUL.  Godawful.  I might not mind a woman in the calling plays or doing color, but I don't want to hear Ralph Monroe from Green Acres. 



So I turned that off.  Couldn't bear it.  

Waited until the second game.  Turned on Rams/Raiders early in the second quarter.  I used to like the Raiders but they can suck my ass now.  That stupid Bama receiver and they just signed McTattoo. Hope they lose every game.  

Tried to watch it just a little.  Again, couldn't bear it because of the announcing crew.  I don't know who was calling the game but I assume it was Sam .  Everything was bellowed at full volume.

It was the middle of the second quarter, dipstick.  Calm your tits.  

My eardrums and nerves just couldn't stand it.  

Between two games I lasted a total of less than ten minutes.  It was awful.  I've heard high school games with better announcing teams.  Shit.

Like K above, I don't mind a woman doing the play by play, but Beth Mowins is just bad.  Her voice is distracting.  Sounds like she's talking with her teeth clinched.

I don't mind a female commentat...no wait, I do mind. I can't stand it, it's like scratching down a chalk board for 4 hours. Female sideline reporters, that's absolutely fine...female sideline reporter drinking Cam Newton's "juice" that's hilariously fantastic.
