Papa J-Zizzle
« on: July 14, 2018, 05:10:36 PM »
Papa John is being erased from our consciousness.  He criticized NFL players for taking a knee.  This week he allegedly used the word "nig**h" during a conference call.  He's being fired from the company he founded (which makes pretty decent pizza).  His image is coming off all company materials. The stadium he almost singlehandedly paid for in Louisville is stripping his name from its signage.

Meanwhile in The First Purge, characters used that same word approximately 45 times.  It was used another 20 times in the song that closed the movie.

At some point this ridiculous double standard has to cease.

I think the social justice warriors should fight America's actual warriors.

Then when it's over, the remaining SJWs have to move to Mexico and stay there.  Because there will be a wall.

So now we get the whole story. He was not using the word in any sort of derogatory way. He was explaining that there were things in the past that you could say, such as Col. Sanders, that you cannot use today.

So now as a white person, you can never say the word nig**r in any context? Not historically. Not repeating what someone else said. NEVER, whitey!

This is another SJW railroad of a ridiculous manner:

Papa Johns pizza isn't healthy, it's fuckin nasty. Of course, morons like Kaos would think they're "pretty decent". Plus, he was suppose to step down a year ago. Remember, he complained that because of the NFL backlash they were losing money, and that he was stepping down, nevermind the fact that a grocery store bought freezer pizza is better & cheaper than their overpriced garbage.

I could care less about how his pizza tastes.  Do you agree that being basically forced to resign for using the N word is a good thing?

What, exactly, did he say?  And not just the N-word, but the sentence it was used in, and the sentences before and after?

From Forbes' original breaking of the story.

John Schnatter—the founder and public face of pizza chain Papa John’s—used the N-word on a conference call in May. Schnatter confirmed the incident in an emailed statement to Forbes on Wednesday. He resigned as chairman of Papa John's on Wednesday evening.
The call was arranged between Papa John’s executives and marketing agency Laundry Service. It was designed as a role-playing exercise for Schnatter in an effort to prevent future public-relations snafus. Schnatter caused an uproar in November 2017 when he waded into the debate over national anthem protests in the NFL and partly blamed the league for slowing sales at Papa John’s.
On the May call, Schnatter was asked how he would distance himself from racist groups online. He responded by downplaying the significance of his NFL statement. “Colonel Sanders called blacks n-----s,” Schnatter said, before complaining that Sanders never faced public backlash.

Schnatter also reflected on his early life in Indiana, where, he said, people used to drag African-Americans from trucks until they died. He apparently intended for the remarks to convey his antipathy to racism, but multiple individuals on the call found them to be offensive, a source familiar with the matter said. After learning about the incident, Laundry Service owner Casey Wasserman moved to terminate the company’s contract with Papa John’s.
In an emailed statement on Wednesday afternoon, Schnatter confirmed the allegations. "News reports attributing the use of inappropriate and hurtful language to me during a media training session regarding race are true," he said. "Regardless of the context, I apologize. Simply stated.

How have we morphed into a situation where if you disapprove of people showing disrespect and disdain for the country in which they live, the country which provides them their freedom, the country which provides a means for them to earn a living -- you are a RACIST?

Of course you're saying it's garbage.  You were probably jerking off to the thought of your last p-j order being delivered but now (because you are a snowflake) you are hell bent on crucifying this guy over some bullshit comment.  I can also promise that you have used that same word at some point in your point.
