We've reached new lows in civil discourse. Despite what the yowling Prowlers of the world want you to believe, the loss of basic civility isn't a result of Donald Trump, it's the intolerance of the left reaching extreme levels.

Just this weekend

1) Sarah Sanders was kicked out of a restaurant for no greater offense than working for the current administration.

2) Maxine Waters calls for people to harass Trump staffers in public

3) Jimmy Fallon feels compelled to apologize for doing nothing more than treating then-candidate Donald Trump like a human being

4) The New Yorker magazine rips Donald Trump and his staff for eating at Mexican restaurants.

Florida AG, Pam Bondi, was confronted by protesters while waiting in line for a movie. She says they were in her face, screaming at her about "ripping babies away from their parents", and basically trying to start a fight.

Maxine Waters needs to be removed from office immediately. Her comments are going to get someone killed. They've already opened fire on Republicans practicing for a charity softball game. Now, the left has one of its own leaders telling them to keep it up.

Yeah, they both had the right. But the difference on a moral level is that the baker said it goes against my religious beliefs. And he left it at that. The restaurant owner did it for show....then, when part of Sanders party went across the street to another restaurant, the owner of the Red Hen followed them over there and called for protesters come and harass them there as well. The Left is deranged. Sick!!

I decided to flip around and see what some were saying on CNN, MSNBC etc. Got to CNN and the host of whatever show had two panelists on to discuss the Maxine Waters comments. Here's how it went. Not exaggerating in the least.

Host: So Maxine Waters makes a call to fight fire with fire in this battle we're in. What do you make of her comments?

Guest: I totally understand her frustration.....

I cut it off immediately. Fighting fire (WHAT FIRE?) with fire (Call to physically confront people). This "battle we're in"? Who? CNN? So, you finally admit you're taking sides? You finally admit you're in a battle to oust Trump? And instead of condemning remarks clearly out of bounds for any politician and very likely to incite violence....she understands the frustration. The Left has pushed this to the point of something catastrophic. It's coming. They will absolutely do something to make a statement. The other side of that is that the Left has pissed so many people off that you might see one deranged lunatic decide to take out as many lefties as he/she can. It's over the top, folks.

To not serve people based on "you ain't my kind" is either right or wrong. Whether it's political affiliation, race, age, whether you like taco or sausage, etc.

Just my take. But I know some have protections and some don't. Just from a common sense point of view though - I think you either have to morally be ok with it all or not.

Completely different situation.

Biden was looking for a business to use as a campaign stop. He chose that one, but the owner a) had been open for a fairly short time and b) the request came on the heels of Obama chiding small business owners with his "you didn't build that..." blatantly socialist comments.

The guy said he'd rather not have his business used to promote Biden when Obama had no respect for business owners. Had Biden shown up as a private citizen wanting to get a cookie, the owner wouldn't have heckled him or shown him the door.

Biden's advance team approached the guy, he said he'd rather not and they chose another place.

Not even close to the same.
