That's about where I expected.  Although, it doesn't make any sense.  LSU was one minute better than us, and that means suddenly seven other teams are considered better than us.

For one, you don't know my disposition on the concept of voting.

And two, I never said LSU was a top ten team.

And three, the point of my comment was to question the validity of the polls since their votes can not be proven to be objective. 

And four, did you actually read my other comment in the other thread or just pass it off as nonsense that differs from your own opinion?

You're right...I am not sure why I got the opinion that you thought Auburn sucked...

After finally watching Auburn in person this year, I must say, we suck.

As I said last night, we played better than we really were.  We got lucky on some throws.  We have no running game (zone left and zone right ain't gonna cut it in the SEC).  The Franklin screens aren't doing what was promised to us.  Instead of having the amiable presence of Al Borges, we're stuck with a sloppy jerk-off who is having similar results.

What the fuck are you talking about?  I never receded any of those comments.  I further explained them - the decisions from our head man to play conservative football takes away from our ability to win football games.  It's great at keeping us IN tough games, but it seems like we're in tough games with a lot of inferior opponents.  It also seems real easy for good teams to blow up on us in the 3rd quarter. 

Also, I further explained that Chris Todd's throwing arm is pathetic.  As you have already ostentatiously stated, you know a lot about football.  If you weren't lying, then you should agree that Todd's arm does not have the strength fit for the SEC.  I don't care if he's at 15% - if he can't make the throws, change the offense or get someone new. 

Sorry, but if we can't get over the hump and dominate our opponents and make more than two appearances in 10+ years in the SEC championship game, then we might as well suck.  I'm not content with having a good year and beating Bama. 

As for my comments on this post, they have nothing to do with the state of our football team right now.  They have to do with the benighted pollsters who continuously show a lack of logic with their votes.  If LSU is a top 5 team in their opinion and only beat us by 5 points in the last minute of the game, then there is no reason to believe that seven teams would do better in the same situation. 

Consider yourself privileged.  I'm not going to explain myself again.

This might be the first year, that I can remember, that the AP Polls are a complete Joke.  I've never seen so many flip flops from one week to the next.  One example:  WVU gets beat by ECU and they drop 16 spots from #8 to #24 and ECU goes from being unraked to the #15 spot.  So, if ECU was considered a Top 15 team and they beat a Top 10 team, then why drop that Top 10 team that far?  Also, it seems that some of the "Unbiased" Voters are putting the teams where they think they'll end up and not where they are during that week.  Some of the Voters need to have their voter rights pulled.
Hell, the AP poll doesn't even matter anymore....I can't wait until the computer polls come out.
