I always stay logged on during the day.  The glamorous life of an attorney normally means sitting in front of a computer screen and on the phone 80-90% of the day.  Who knew "Law & Order" was bullshit?  The X breaks up the monotony of work. I work on a file or two and check the board.  Work on a file or two, make some calls...check the board.

Right now, it's about 10:15.  So far, I've sent an e-mail to a secretary to do something on a file.  THAT'S IT!!  I can't concentrate.  I need to be on The Plains, gettin' my drink on and talking shit with you reprobates.

I am having some of the same troubles as well.  I have been kept busy by some payroll problems that had to be dealt with but by and large I ain't gonna get shit done today.  BK and I got our drink on last night so the pump is primed.

I'm chillin' at the casa today waiting on my girlie to get here from the Gump.  She has a job interview up here at 2pm in Homewood.  We're heading out early tomorrow morning to get there.   Looking forward to seeing you all, and meeting the few I haven't met yet.

it's 8:18 now.  i arrived at the office @ 6:30.  

i have been on the x and fantasy bb trying to work over ogre for the championship.

i submitted a purchase req.  picked my nose several times.  took a dump.  instructed a foreperson in broken spanish.  still trying to focus.  in fact i struggle to focus every day.  

taking a half day.

Unfortunately, they keep scheduling new clients for this afternoon.  I'm gonna' be like, "So, you fractured your spleen in the wreck, huh? Wow! So, do you think Auburn can get this spread thing going, or what?"

I drank last night at lovely Innisfree here in Birmingham until about 1:30 in celebration of this weekend.  Woke my stupid hungover ass up this morning, dragged in to work about 8.  Ever since 8, I have been checking my e-mail, sitting on tigersx, and playing flash games.  I am going to be the best attorney ever. 


I am not showing up to the tailgate tomorrow until there is a Yeti spotting.
