Turned it off after the 1st Qtr, so much more stuff to do than watch Gus fucking stumble around with his head up his ass. The few times they showed Steele it looked like he didn't give a fuck either. It gets worst watching UGA-Okie knowing we could never be that good on any kind of consistent basis.

I can tell you this, outside of maybe one quarter, UCF wanted this game much more than Auburn. I mean, what the hell happen to the OL? Hardly any blocking. Did KJ even play? Why did Stidham coward into a shell on the last drive? No crossing route inside the 30? Why in the hell did Steele not run some sort LB blitz packages in the 2nd half? They let a puny little Flutie lookalike run all over the damn place.

So many questions and no answers. But hey, at least we get to watch the two teams (rivals) AU beat play each other in the NCG!

I'm hanging up my AU-ness. Spent most of my life wearing my allegiance proudly. Car tag, window stickers. I've bought enough Auburn stuff to fill a NBA player's closet in my lifetime.

Part of it is the Saban/Bama factor. I'm so sick of them that it drains every ounce of fun out of the season. And now UGA is just as bad.

Even when we beat them both -- and do it convincingly -- it doesn't matter. It's like it never happened. It meant nothing.

I just don't care any more. I haven't been wholly invested in years now. I don't like the constant feeling of helplessness/hopelessness that seems to be part of the natural state. It weighs on me. It wears on me. Being an Auburn fan has always been a part of my identity. I'm tired now. Tired of hearing shit from Bama fans and Georgia fans and whatever.

I hate Nick Saban. He's as much responsible for this depression as anything. It would be easier to take if they weren't so protected

It's just not fun any more. None of it is. I never thought I'd say that.

I gave up caring AS MUCH several years ago. Right after 2010 really. All the Cam bashing nearly ended it for me that season, but we won it all. 2013 was fun for the time it took Davis to run back the kick 6, then one pass play from FSUs felon QB and...nothing...like, as you said, it never happened.

Yet...every...single....year...bammer is there...always in the conversation even when they shouldn't be...when they're having a shitty year, they're winning 11. Us, we're up then we're a dumpster fire.... firing Chiz embarrassingly soon after an NC, then Gus is hot but soon on the verge of wrecking the Gus Bus...he gets great potential QB recruits that fall flat....then Gus does juuuuuuuuuuuuuust enough to temp us...and then this. I watch football for the football schemes now. Football is fun to watch...Auburn football is a labor of love only. Love watching smaller conference games that have 1000yds of offense and 100pts. I go to one game in Auburn a year just to tailgate with friends, but don't really care near as much as I once did. This season is a stark reminder why.
