This Weekend/Next Weekend
« on: September 18, 2017, 10:01:28 PM »
Should be interesting.  We're on the road to Mizzou. The Alt Left Wing Tigers are coming off a 31-13 drubbing by USCe (Who just lost to Kentucky at home) and domination by **cough** **cough** the Boilermakers of Purdue, 35-3.  Eliminate the turnovers, give Pettway a break and keep pretty much the same game plan as this past Saturday and we should be 1-0 in conference.  Our D should make sure of that.

That would set up a match up with Dan Mullen's Puppies on the Plains.  Obviously, they just shocked college football with a complete dismantling of the Yaw Yaw Tigers.  I'm a believer in Nick Fitzgerald, but is MSU that good or LSU that bad?  I think a little of both.  Save the "Dan Mullen can die in a fire" takes.  He obviously coaches 2-3 star talent up and guess what, seems to know what to do with a quarterback.  But the next test for the Mullpuppies is in the cesspool of Athens, Georgia this weekend.  I hate Georgia with every fiber of my college football being.  But right now, I want them to put some Major Payne on MSU.  They can drown in quicksand the day after.  But I don't want Miss. State of all people riding some serious momentum into JHS next week.  Putting Fitzgerald on the one-week DL would be fine with me.

I want to be 3-1 after a convincing road win going into that game.

I hear ya. Fitzgerald is as tough as they come as a running QB, doesn't back down.

Mullen gets the most from his kids, it's true. He also seems to do better when he can sneak up on teams the way we once did with less talent.
That should be a thriller to the wire.
I'm okay pulling for State against UGA, then having a real showdown against the maroons. Maybe we learn more about our team's overall character. We have to take on a fired up State while overcoming some seriously poor coaching by our offensive staff.
Tough task.

I think Mullen is an asshat.

But I also think he's a very good coach. That was apparent when he left Florida and they took a nosedive on qb development. Dak and Fitz were not really blue chippers but as you've said they were coached up. Credit where due.

But he's still an asshat I will never forgive for the cam shit

Oh, give the guy a break.  You'd be mad too if you lost out because your boosters wouldn't pony up the $180K.  He was butt hurt because he got out bid.  He went up against the big boys and lost.

What he said.

Dan Mullen can die in a hot smelly rental car, with the windows rolled up, but not of CO2 poisoning but by eating bad sushi and then having a serious case of diarrhea whilst in the car.  He eventually dies from dehydration.

As far as rooting for I disagree with your stance, regardless of how shitty we look I don't want to win games because their QB is out or they have a hot streak.   I want to beat the everloving piss out of good teams.  That being said Fuck UGA.  I hope the Bulldogs come into JHS riding a huge wave of emotion and on a win streak and we kick the shit outta of them.  I'm not holding my breath...it's just what I would prefer.

I want all key players injured for the other team.  And only for the 24 hour window when the game is to be played.  I want Fitzgerald to get a 24 hour stomach virus.  I want someone to step on Guice's dick just before the LSU game.  I want Chubb to contract goat aids the day of the Georgia game.  I'd like to see Bama's entire front 7 on defense arrested for suspicion of child molestation the week of the Iron Bowl.

Teams had no problem beating us while White was injured, Pettway was out, Kerryon was at 40% and Gus was still brain dead.

Five statements of WISDOM
1. You cannot legislate the poor into prosperity, by legislating the wealth out of prosperity.
2. What one person receives without working for, another person must work for without receiving.
3. The government cannot give to anybody anything that the government does not first take from somebody else.
4. You cannot multiply wealth by dividing it.
5. When half of the people get the idea that they do not have to work because the other half is going to take care of them, and when the other half gets the idea that it does no good to work because somebody else is going to get what they work for, that my dear friends, is the beginning of the end of any nation.

If Dan Mullen ever sets foot in Auburn as our head coach -- or hell in any capacity at Auburn -- that is the last day I will be an Auburn football fan.

I know things and I despise the guy.  I have more personal hatred for him than I do Saban.  He's a pissant little bitch. He tried to burn our program down. Him and his wife both.  I can't forgive that.  Now he's burning Ole Miss to the ground because THEY pay players and then rat out other programs for doing the same thing.

Even if you told me that by hiring him we'd go undefeated for four straight seasons, I'd still tell Dan Mullen to go fuck a coconut.
