2017 Installment of MLB Bitchin' & Moanin'.

I'm sure Matt Adams will level off soon but so far, he's got 5 hits in his first 13 AB's with 2 HR's and a walk off single late last night. He's more than picked up the Freddie slack in his first few games.

Got a little heated in San Fran yesterday. Actual punches thrown (and landed) and the worst helmet throw in history. Also, note how catcher, Buster Posey, sticks up for his pitcher.

Posey, he did want none. Apparently the pitcher had been holding on to some bad blood for about 3 years.

What more do you want from your catcher? I mean, he actually started heading to the mound after the first punch was thrown. He almost tried to fight his way through the crowd too. That's a team player!

I saw the interview with Posey afterward. He didn't even try to hide it. "Yeah, there were some big boys going at it out there."

I heard a great idea this morning. If you want to cut down on the fights, handle it like the NHL. Everyone stay out of it and let the 2 guys fighting duke it out until they go to the ground and then jump in and separate it. In hockey, they don't care because everyone's padded up like football. In baseball, not so much.

This kind of reminds me of what I intended it to look like at x gate if Chizzy would have shown up and thrown inside on me. If he were to get drunk enough and brave enough to show up, whoever is playing catcher, don't hold me back bro.
