Troy comes to town for a Tuesday night matchup, and then we hit the road to Starkville for the weekend conference series against the conference leader, Mississippi State.

The one thing that stands out about this series is the production against a damn good team. Friday night was 15 runs on 15 hits. Today was 11 runs on 16 hits. Keep up a pace anything close to that and this team makes major post season noise.

14 games remaining. 2 OOC games against Troy (Mentioned above) and UAB late. From there, it's four 3-game series. MSU on the road. Bama at home. LSU in Baton Rude and then Ole Miss to finish it off. .500 ball will get us to post season beyond the SEC Tourney. I think we do much better. Definitely a change in my thinking and expectations.

Not too shabby for a team picked to finish dead last in the conference.

We've lost 1 series all season - to the Aggies in College Station - and have 4 series left. If we win 3 of these 4 series, we should be in great shape to host a regional.
