Auburn Baseball 2017

Auburn survives a furious Samford rally to win last night's game, 16-15. We had a 16-7 lead going into the 6th, and the bullpen decided to pitch batting practice. We really need some help in the pen.

We head to Rocky Top for the weekend conference series.

Auburn withstands a Volunteer rally in the 9th to win game 1, 3-2. We went into the 9th with a 3-0 lead, but Yew-T made a game out of it at the end.

A win on the road, beeshes. 9-4 conference is pretty sporty given the murderer's row we've had to start with.

Hopefully, the line up adjustment will strengthen our ability to win series between our remaining SEC foes. I think we're one good pitcher away from being a Top 5 team and playing in the College World Series.

I agree. Once Keegan gets back into game shape, our starting lineup will be dominating (damn near unhittable) once again. We need a couple of middle relievers to step up.

Well shit. We took a 4-1 lead into the 7th, and Tennessee came back to force extra innings. Herndon comes in out of the pen and allows a base hit and 2 walks. A sacrifice fly brings the winning run home and the Vols win 5-4 in 10 innings.

Not at all. Keegan pitched a great game tonight for the fellers, but our bullpen is an Achilles heel for this team.

I don't know what to think about the ladies. There's some bad medicine affecting them.

The SEC is off the charts good. We definitely lost some key offensive players off last year's club. The key, to me anyway, is getting past SEC play/tourney and getting into regionals against programs outside this conference. They may find themselves back in the World Serious again.
