The still liberal party line
« on: January 05, 2017, 10:16:30 PM »
Over the past few weeks I've watched the so-called mainstream media puzzle over how Trump could possibly have won, scoff at his appointments and tweets (stop tweeting, Donald!) and moon over the departing Obama.

Most egregious?  Everywhere I look I see the liberal pissing and moaning about the coming Republican effort to retool the "Affordable Care Act" (Retooling? I'll retool you...).   Almost all of them cite Obama's glib line about millions of Americans getting coverage, and repeat his clueless contention that it made coverage more affordable.  They fail to mention the enormous cost increases to those of us who had coverage, they fail to mention the millions forced into his shitty insurance plan because they push business owners out of the ability to provide coverage for their employees, they neglect to mention rising deductibles, soaring co-pays and all the other carnage that has come with his half-baked socialist idea.   But his obtuse "so many more have coverage" line is the spin they cover this crap with.

I'm tired of it.  I really think that the more the media beats this same lame drum, the more people are going to turn away from the "vision" of Obama and the 'progressive' democratic party.  He's as out of touch with "real" America as any leader has ever been.

Obama was the worst president -- by far -- of my lifetime.  I'm glad to see him gone and I'm incensed that there are some currently demanding that flags be flown at half mast/staff to mark the end of his presidency. I've come to believe that the fucker is so in love with himself and so sure that everybody else is dumber than he is, that he actually probably believes most of the ridiculous shit he spouts off.  He's surrounded by slavish fawning serfs who proclaim his every fart to be godwind.  He's come to believe in his own press almost to the point of seeing his goofy babble as a messianic message to the world.

I hope the bitching and moaning coming from John McCain and his lapdogs cost them their jobs.

I read something long-winded today where the author (an unabashed liberal journalist, who'da thunk it)  first expressed his flabbergastedness at the fact that anyone could be a conservative and then tried to explain it as "democrats see only the good.  When somebody commits a crime, they did it because of circumstances or their situation or some problem that needs to be fixed!  Republicans, however, see it as a man behaving badly.  Democrats see the good in the world, Republicans see the bad."

If I could find that guy, he'd see a flagpole shoved up his ass.  The liberal elite has done enough to destroy this country already.

I wasn't really a "Trump guy" before. I was just 100% anti-Hillary.  But as I've watched these motherfuckers riot, beat people, deface property, march, hold sit ins, refuse to perform at the inauguration, bitch, moan, whine and act like assholes?  I've swung completely and proudly to the Trump camp.  I'm not going to pretend I didn't vote for him and I'm damn sure not going to listen to anybody berate or belittle me because I did.

One of our employees turned in her notice yesterday.  The reason?  A little better pay with another firm, but more importantly, they're a huge firm with numerous employees and can afford to offer her health care coverage.

My premium...$19,300.00/year for family coverage.  $3,000.00 deductible.

My doctor told me I needed to stop masturbating.  I asked him why, and he said, "because I'm trying to examine you."

It's working!

BTW, I just heard Bernie Goldberg on Fox summarize my position:

"I'm no fan of Donald Trump, I don't think he's presidential. Not only am I willing to give him a chance, though, BUT people with 'Trump derangement syndrome' are bringing me closer to Trump because I think they are more annoying than he is..."

O'Reilly says they're dangerous.

Goldberg comes back and says that their "dangerous craziness is not being reinforced in Mad Magazine, but it's being legitimized in real media sources like the New York Times."

Yep.  That's how I feel.

The problem is that Steven Colbert and Samantha Bee are the only "newspeople" about 90% of liberals watch.

A veteran is someone who, at one point in his life, wrote a blank check made payable to 'The United States of America ' for an amount of 'up to and including my life.' That is Honor, and there are way too many people in this country who no longer understand it.'

Five statements of WISDOM
1. You cannot legislate the poor into prosperity, by legislating the wealth out of prosperity.
2. What one person receives without working for, another person must work for without receiving.
3. The government cannot give to anybody anything that the government does not first take from somebody else.
4. You cannot multiply wealth by dividing it.
5. When half of the people get the idea that they do not have to work because the other half is going to take care of them, and when the other half gets the idea that it does no good to work because somebody else is going to get what they work for, that my dear friends, is the beginning of the end of any nation.
