Was South Carolina in the mix? I saw where they were 20 point favorites against UMass, who I believe played Florida fairly tough in the opener. But Friday, I heard a sportscaster laughing about it because he said USCe hadn't scored 20 themselves all year. Applied the Googles. By golly they hadn't until Saturday. Won by 6.

They threw the Bentley kid in at qb. He was Opelikas qb last year. His dad was some asst to Gus the last few years and when muschamp left be offered him a job up there this ensuing the kids commitment. I believe he enrolled early.

Agreed. They have a worse run defense than Arkansas did prior to our game.

I got in the max that my book will take at -4. I'm seeing most places have moved to 4.5. It's only going to go up. Game time should see a 6 to 7.5 line. Still a good bet. When we crush them by 21, you will be able to hear me scream like a little girl. If we lose, you may also hear me.

Good question. No run game, two tackles banged up and a porous defense with some talent.

The only reason would be banking that the gunslinger is able to cut up our secondary while he's under duress.

I could see him clowning us for two and maybe an added broken coverage score but they can't stop us. Would take us getting behind early, totally abandoning the run, not making adjustments and having a total meltdown.

In caution though we need to understand that our offense is predicated on running the ball.
Sean, for as much as we love him, is not a come from behind thrower and we do not need to get in the position of having to play catch-up. He throws well within thirty yards and can accurately hit open targets. That will work with a substantial run game and stout defense.

Yep. The media narrative on Kelly is alive and well despite the team's struggles.

The reality is that we can pressure him mightily with our front 4 (where most teams are having to commit an extra defender or two) and his shenanigans won't play against an entire defensive backfield.

Throw in a soupcon of team in-fighting and a collapsing W/L record...and...
