Based on what? The talking heads? He has 3 more games experience then Gus Malzahn had at Arky State.

Not saying he isn't intriguing but I don't think we have a shot at him.

Every team in the country including LSU will be after him, and believe it or not Houston has some big money behind them as well, expect an all out bidding war.

Yes but I guess that all depends on who fires and hires first. Herman will not be at Houston next season and will likely be in the SEC.

Ed Zachary. As I said earlier, he may turn out to be the next Urban Cryer. Maybe. Maybe not. He's looked great so far but in the pump yo' brakes category...

A. ^^^No more real experience than Gus had. How many times have we harped on here about us (JJ) jumping the gun on a guy that didn't have enough experience to take over an SEC West team? Now to be fair, I think most everyone has been open about Malzahn not being choice #A. But since he's floundered the last year and a half, that's the narrative. Is Herman really ready?

2. Show of hands. How many here have down played any success Gus has had in the past due to "lucking" into QB's like Cam and Nick? Does the name Greg Ward Jr. ring a bell?
