Thought that too but I had a feeling the 4th would be all JFIII and it seems that will be the case. Dude, if III can get his passing on scale, the AU offense because crazy dangerous. This mfer is fast as shit.

Granted, it was against one of the weaker teams in a 2 year span but that was a pretty well played game in all 3 phases. We will know a lot more over next 2 weeks.

Over 700 yards.  While the competition matters, it was the first time over 700 since 2013.   And probably not very many of those ever.  You can't ignore 700 yards.

Frustrating because of what could have been last week if we hadn't had the clown show.

Maybe he learned.

I think he did. I mean White was in the game except like 7 plays until the 4th. Not only that but we saw some of that mad scientist shit that actually worked. Not to mention the D was playing at a similar level as last week.

I feel much better about the season. I will feel much if AU plays at this level next week. You are right, you can't ignore 700 yrds of offense.

True and we all saw how accurate White is and how valuable Pettway will be as our go-to runner and extra protector of White.

Will Hasting's looks to be our short game. Hope we can get him the ball because he can really extend drives and demands attention.

Just got a chance to watch the game. I liked the mix of plays. We have some ballers.

However, I'm not sure Ryan Davis is ready.
And where is Jason Smith?

Steven Roberts is a missile!

And like many of you, indefinitely feel we win against Clemson with this game plan!

Looking at JF3, he is fast. But he seemed a bit lost. Hopefully by the second half of the season, he will have a good package. Needs to throw a bit off the option!

Five statements of WISDOM
1. You cannot legislate the poor into prosperity, by legislating the wealth out of prosperity.
2. What one person receives without working for, another person must work for without receiving.
3. The government cannot give to anybody anything that the government does not first take from somebody else.
4. You cannot multiply wealth by dividing it.
5. When half of the people get the idea that they do not have to work because the other half is going to take care of them, and when the other half gets the idea that it does no good to work because somebody else is going to get what they work for, that my dear friends, is the beginning of the end of any nation.

I saw Smith in a uni. Where is T.J. Neal? Deshaun Davis needs a real rest now and again.

Ok so let me just say that sitting in the stands with the kids for their first home game and seeing Johnson make that run and Davis make the outrageous catch was great!

Now, offense looked much better! That's what I expected to see the first game of the season, an offense that can produce and a defense that looks like a bunch of head hunters.  The only thing I saw on defense was that we got burned over the top right down the middle twice for big yards.  That was concerning.

We keep this type of play up then we will be playing for the SEC and maybe...dare I say it, the big pen holder.

I posted about MLB Deshaun Davis not getting a breather while running sideline to sideline. Now when he does leave the field we drop back DE Carl Lawson who automatically picks a gap to rush the passer. Consequently, the opposing offense (knowing this) sends WRs deep exposing an AU soft middle...even moreso when our safety bites to assist a corner.

IMO this has to be addressed or we get cut-up underneath in the coming weeks. Yes we are aggressive, yes we tackle much better but this will get us beat.

If we could get Davis' backup off of the Twatters, maybe this won't happen in the future.
