Kind of screws my travel plans.  I wasn't going to Austin, but I am going to the Bahamas on the 27th, which was planned specifically because the hogs were off that week.  Damn Hurricanes!  I guess I shouldn't cuss at them too loud, so far they've left Hollywood Beach alone this year.  Better it cancelled the football game than cancel my electricity for a couple weeks.

This helps Arkansas TREMENDOUSLY IYAM. 

After two abysmal weeks of football, Arkansas needed a week off.  Having to stay in the routine of prepping for the next game, they haven't had time to regroup and assess what's really wrong with their team.  Texas probably would have beat the pants off of Arkansas, which would have obliterated any confidence they had.  Now, Arkansas can gameplan and restablish confidence; Bama might want to be a little worried. 

Arkansas will be prepared to play Bama.  Bama has to stay injury free this weekend, and they really need to play a good game, or they'll have zero confidence points left from the Clemson game.

     Not sure how much it helps us.  Would have been nice to play a couple more, then take a week off.  With the change, our off week comes really early.  Meanwhile, OSU is going to get blown out by USC this week, and 'bama will move up in the top 10.  That means we will have to play 8 consecutive weeks, and the first four will all be in the top 10.   FOUR STRAIGHT AGAINST THE TOP10!!  And people make fun of us for scheduling cup cakes.  We still have LSU at the end of the year as well.  People talk about Ga's schedule being so tough, we'd trade with them in a minute.

Don't know that I'd trade Head Coaches or O-linemen, and while they heyday in our history is back in the 60's, I don't know that I'd trade that with them either.

BTW, Auburn would also trade anything on that list except possibly the defense.
