Mason has been charged with resisting arrest, marijuana possession, reckless driving and failure to register a motor vehicle after being pulled over on Saturday afternoon. Per a Broward County police report, via Frank Guzman of WSVN, officers observed Mason going 75 mph. in a 35 mph. zone and pulled him over after a short pursuit. Mason allegedly refused requests to provide his license or name, refused to get out of the car when police told him he would be arrested and was eventually removed after use of a Taser.

Officers found 12 grams of marijuana in the vehicle and took Mason into custody. They also took him to the hospital for medical clearance.

Nick Wagoner of ESPN.com reports that the Rams are â€œstill gathering informationâ€ about what happened.

Mason, a 2014 third-round pick, is heading into his third season with the Rams.

The Broward County Clerk of Courts records show that Mason was scheduled to be arraigned for his March 5 arrest on suspicion of possession of marijuana, reckless driving, failure to register a motor vehicle and resisting arrest on April 11.

The judge has also set a bond amount of $1,500 for Mason once he is taken into custody. TMZ Sports first reported the warrant being issued.

Mason was subdued with a stun gun and arrested in Hollywood, Florida, that night after driving away from police officers attempting to pull him over for going more than twice the speed limit in a 35 mph zone, according to the initial police report.

The arresting officer wrote that Mason refused to identify himself or produce a driver's license and that he smelled marijuana coming from Mason's Porsche.

Tre Mason no longer wanted by police

A warrant issued for the arrest of Los Angeles Rams running back Tre Mason on April 11 was withdrawn on Monday by Judge Robert F. Diaz of the County Court of the 17th Judicial Circuit in Broward County, Fla.

The bench warrant was issued after Mason failed to show up in court for arraignment on four charges stemming from a traffic stop in Hollywood, Fla., on March 5. The former Auburn standout has been charged with resisting an officer/obstruction without violence, reckless driving, failure to register a motor vehicle and possession of marijuana in an amount less than 20 grams.

Attorney H.T. Smith Jr. of Miami filed a motion for the arrest warrant to be withdrawn on Friday. Smith's motion said notice of the arraignment had been mailed to a previous, rather than the current, address of Mason's, so the running back wasn't aware of the court date. The motion also said Mason hadn't retained a lawyer at the time of the arraignment.

Court records show the arraignment notice mailed to Mason was returned to sender on April 7. The arraignment notice was mailed on March 23, according to the Broward County Clerk of Courts web site -- the same day that the April 11 date of Mason's scheduled arraignment was widely reported, including by AL.com.

On Thursday, Smith entered a plea of not guilty on Mason's behalf to all the charges against him.

According to the police report, Mason would not identify himself after being pulled over for going 75 mph in a 35-mph zone, and he would not get out his car when asked to do so. A Taser was used to remove Mason from his car, and he was tased again before being taken to a hospital.
