I know this is unconventional, but if I were a poll voter, I would put them at #1 this week.

Yes, I know, both of those teams were a touch over-rated, but what other team has beaten two Top 10 opponents already?

No one. By that logic, they are the best team in the country RIGHT NOW. Sure, other teams would have the opportunity to jump them, and probably would at some point in the season, but if you're taking it week by week like you should instead of just padding it with "Traditional" teams, East Carolina has the best resume after week 2.

Alabama beats ONE overrated Top 10 team and jumps up from unranked to 17th in the coach's poll, and from 24th to 13th in the AP? Yes, I would have gave them a healthy bump as well, but that's just being ridiculous. Who here thinks ECU will get anywhere near that same kind of treatment after doubling uat's accomplishments? They should definitely be put above uat after this weekend.

It does not pay to be ranked one spot ahead of Auburn this season.  So far, both teams occupying the rung above Auburn in the ladder have been unceremoniously punked by a team that, well, let's be honest, isn't all that.
