Coach Steele is a pretty good recruiter too (he knows how to move money around, just like Coach Thompson does...hint, they worked under Sabbin).

I would put Coach Craig above all the coaches on the staff, recruiting wise (not to impressed with his WR group though, I still feel he would make a better QB Coach)

Coach Gardner & Craig (those two are top tier recruiters, Craig a little more so).

I would match Coach Muschamp with Coach McGriff (McGriff was Ole Miss' & later Vanderbilt's bagman)

I would match Coach T-Rob with Coach T-Will (T-Will is a fucking rapper, that will resonate with HS prospects)

I would match Coach Thompson with Coach Steele

I would put Coach Hand above Coach Grimes (Coach Malzahn wanted Herbie in '13, settled on Grimes. I like Grimes a lot, more so than most of the staff, but from what I've read and heard, Coach Hand is a really good recruiter as well as being a really good OL Coach).

So, no...we didn't lose ALL of our recruiters. Only a blind man would think that.

Rumor/Fact Mill:  Two LSU wide receivers transferred out today. One was a former starter.  Don't know what, if any relation it has to Craig's arrival.  No real reasons given.  Something at least worth keeping an eye on.

Also, Coach McGriff & Coach Hand have been recruiting coordinators in some of their previous stops (McGriff with Baylor, Ole Miss & Vanderbilt & Hand with West Virginia '01-'06)...McGriff & Hand apparently have hot wives because they were both on Vanderbilt's staff under HC James Franklin ("I only hire coaches with hot wives because it tells me, they know how to recruit.")

I can't imagine that Craig's image is so toxic that established players would bolt when he's announced as their new position coach.

I read where one had started 7 games and then had one shitty game against Bama. Lost his #1 slot and has never regained it. Your grass is greener scenario is probably more spot on.  Just thought the timing was worth a mention.
