Bama fans jerking off over the hire of Kirby Smart as if it validates their very existence.
Georgia fans jerking off over hiring an assistant who's never been in charge of anything. That's not the move of a program that just fired a coach with a 74% winning percentage, winning ten-plus games in 67% of the seasons he coached, led the team to 15 straight bowls and put more players in the NFL than any other SEC program over the last 12 years. That kind of program needs to hit a home run, not dribble an infield single past the pitcher. Smart may turn out to be a great coach, but there's no way to know that at all now. Hiring him is something Idaho or Central Michigan would do. Not Georgia.
Long conversation on the radio (national radio) about Gene Chizik being in a great position to pick the HC job he wants. He might not want to go to a Georgia or a South Carolina and will probably stick around Chapel Hill another year to see what major jobs open up next season. Unless, that is Larry Fedora heads to Missouri when he might be in line to take over the Tarheels.
All the fucking speculation. Al.com feeds a lot of it because it damages recruiting. Kirby Smart is leaving. That just means Nick Saban is spectacular. Will Muschamp is looking at South Carolina, Central Florida, USC, Missouri or Alabama or Georgia. He might be going to the Cowboys to fill in for Tony Romo until his shoulder heals. That means Auburn sucks and people want to leave. FUUUUUUUUUUUCK you, al.com.
If North Carolina beats Clemson they suck hind tit because they lost to South Carolina in the first game of the season. They can't be in the playoff. But Oklahoma can because they are fucking awesome, despite losing to a shitty Texas team that South Carolina would skull fuck. Stanford can despite losing two games because they beat Notre Fucking Dame. Alabama can despite having a one-trick pony offense and losing to a pretty shitty Ole Miss team at home.
Alabama would be in the playoff even if Arkansas didn't make that crazy ass 50-yard lateral in overtime to beat Ole Miss. That's what sucks. If the lateral never happened and the SEC championship game were Ole Miss and UF (or even UT) -- the winner of that game would be out of the mix while the national media and the selection committee beats its collective wazoos to bleeding raw stumps over a straw-haired, gar-mouthed caveman fucktard. And that's bullshit. As much as I enjoyed the perpetual legacy of Ole Miss suckage, I almost wish they'd stopped Arkansas so the playoff committee would be exposed for the fraudulent fucks they are. I guess that doesn't amuse me, but it makes me laugh derisively.
A lot of other things amuse me but I'm tired of thinking about them.
