My response to this video is So, what? What do you want? Fire all the white people working there? Not let any white kids be there? All I ever hear "I go to school where I know people look at me and judge me" and stuff like that but I never hear a proposal for alternative. So what do you want?

According to this, segregation is what they want. Black only healing space. Got it.

Back when I was attending school on teh Planes, I whipped into the Sonics one night and apparently cut someone off.  These 3 guys in a truck pulled up behind me and threatened to beat my ass to a soda water finish.  Called me names I hadn't heard before. I felt lower than a snake in snowshoes. 

Why didn't I think to stage a protest?  The AU President should have been fired, no doubt.

Alabama president to meet with SGA president about diversity and equity on campus

On Thursday, University of Alabama president Stuart R. Bell is scheduled to meet with Elliot Spillers, the school's student government association president, about diversity and equity on on campus, AL.com has learned.

"I guess we'll speak about how we can solve this issue together as a team," Spillers said.

Spillers said the meeting is partly in response to the student protests at Missouri, which gained national attention this week. A graduate of Pelham High School, Spillers is the first black SGA president at Alabama in nearly four decades.

"I think what we need at UA is an Office of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion," Spillers said. "UAB has one, UAH has one, LSU has one. Every school in the SEC has one except us, and while that does not solve all of our problems, it will give us a firm foundation to build upon for the next five, 10, 20 years down the line.

"We can analyze those pieces of our past that have kept us divided for the last few decades, and honestly take them out of our community."

Spillers told AL.com that he would like to address concerns of institional racsism at Alabama to prevent something from happening at UA similar to the student protests at Missouri.

The only way for true equality at Mizzo (or anywhere) is to disband any group that is using color to identify themselves.  AA students for betterment, gone. Hispanic students for tougher standards, gone. Asian students for lower math scores, gone. White students for (wait there are none of those)
