How does the X chalk up JJ's performance? Was it an aberration or something more? Some seem to think Gus could've done a better job easing him into the game. Don't think we threw any bubble screen's. However as much as we've been hearing how JJ gives the chance to run all of the playbook and can identify all the coverages, should we really have to ease him into the game?

Lets hope it was first game jitters. That team that played yesterday loses at least 3 games this year,

I think 2 of our 3 running back going down in the first half caused Jounson to force the ball.

Yeah the word from Gus was that he'd mastered the playbook and based on what we saw last season he could find the open man. I agree w Dallas too about three loses. But we know the corrections will have us playing much better.

I saw greedy play calling. For the most part, JJ made a lot of the quick throws. The issue was when we wanted to go for broke. There never seemed to be that one guy floating across the middle. In 2010, Cam hit Darvin many times on those types of plays. Which brings us back to the middle I the field. Out passes consisted of deep posts or deep slants. There was never that dig route that allows Duke to cross in front of the safety. Those are the routes that NM could not see. Those are the ones that JJ is supposed to be best at.
This looked like mug and play without NM. Thu changed to iffense more for the firs half of the Arky game last year than they did the whole off season.

Five statements of WISDOM
1. You cannot legislate the poor into prosperity, by legislating the wealth out of prosperity.
2. What one person receives without working for, another person must work for without receiving.
3. The government cannot give to anybody anything that the government does not first take from somebody else.
4. You cannot multiply wealth by dividing it.
5. When half of the people get the idea that they do not have to work because the other half is going to take care of them, and when the other half gets the idea that it does no good to work because somebody else is going to get what they work for, that my dear friends, is the beginning of the end of any nation.

I give him a D-. The only thing that stopped an F is that he didn't quit.

He's better than he played and we need to stop making excuses for him, IMO.

He had some really bad throws.  He had some great throws.  A couple were full tard on his part.  A couple were horrible calls from Malzahn/Lashlee.  Several were "Yeah baby".

I face palmed on a couple of throws but I'm not even close to pushing a panic button.  JJ has been hyped like a mofo by the press for no apparent reason.  Nothing to base it on.  We were hoping he'd come out and go 24-29  350 yards and 3 TD's.  This was a damn good D and he was hot and cold against them on a HUGE stage.  I'm a JJ man all the way.  I also think Malzahn/Lashlee have some look in the mirror moments coming up this week.  That was as bad a game as I've seen called since they arrived.  Now Muschamp...pay the man his money.

This. Don't lose any faith, folks.  Name a QB who hasn't flourished under Malzahn.  Wait...Barrett Tro....okay...hold on.  Seriously...patience.  This kid is going to do some awesome things.  Totally fine with Jeremy Johnson running the show.

The thing that concerns me most is how plain awful some of those throws were. We're are talking multiple throws into triple coverage and 2 ints thrown right to the defender. As in the mfer didn't even have to move. QB is as much mental as anything else and I wonder where Johnson is mentally right now.

I watched JJ on SECN tonight and he really didn't look any better against Louisville than in the game last night. Is this the best of 3? I did not know that they started scheduling football like baseball but I like that. There was a good crowd in the dome tonight too.

I'm not concerned with JJ, just want him to take this as a motivational tool. There is no doubt this was not his norm. The half glass full side of me says this bad game will reap great benefits for him and AU the rest of the season. Likeemtioned, this RB Corp is bad ass and will remove some of the pressures of his shoulders. Not to mention, our D is mo betta than the last several years.
