That would be fun to watch and may happen in the playoffs if all falls into place. Cougars actually had one tough game this year against Hillcrest/Tuscaloosa. Another I have circled is Gardendale.

In other high school/recruiting/probably useless news...2A Elba QB, Ramsey Rigsby, verbally committed to AU as an invited walk on. Elba has been super skrong in 2A the last few years and he's a damn good athlete. Had a lot of Sun Belt Conference offers but really loves the Fighting Jacobs.

In related news though, as far as the team that IS leading that region race....Deion Sanders and his team from Dallas - AAAPrimeU will be visiting the red devils tonight in PC. And yes, he will be there on the sideline calling the plays. I may take a visit over there to check this out.

Cullman/Hartselle had a slug fest tonight. Cullman decided to go for two late in the fourth instead of playing for OT, and didn't get it. Hartselle won 14-13. Those boys were knocking the hell out of each other.

And Im pretty sure the final score was the score at the end of 3. Opelika could have went triple digits. Their QB is a hoss. And his dad is one of Gus's "advisors" which is interesting. Kid is the #8 Pro Style QB for the c/o of 2017. (Jake Bentley)

Pell City drops to 3-5 on the year with a 17-16 loss at Chelsea. The Hornets kick a last second FG to pull out the win. It's the second game Pell City has lost this year on a final play of the game FG.
