Preseason Hardware Watch List

Duke Williams continued to add to his preseason resume Friday when he was named to the watch list for the Walter Camp Award, which goes to the nation's top player.

He is also on the watch list for the Maxwell Award, who also goes to the nation's top player.

Williams caught 45 passes for 730 yards and five touchdowns in 10 games last season, his first at Auburn.

"I really believe he’s the No. 1 receiver in college football," said his quarterback, Jeremy Johnson. "He’s open when he’s covered… if you understand what I mean. All you have to do is put the ball in his range and he’s going to make a play."

yea, in that tough Big 12 11 What it is 10 teams?  They beat chokelahoma.  I give them Ole miss, but I think Ole miss had about two quarts of I don't give shit for that bowl game, like we did in ours.

Maybe....but TCU could have easily had the same syndrome missing out on the playoff but didn't. They could have folded. Instead they beat the ever living piss out of Ole Miss. That was impressive. It was bad.

My thing with TCU,(and I hear it a lot of it out here) how disrespected they are, blah,blah. When I point out their schedule all I get is they play in conference every team. Which I kind of chuckle at. Their two OOC games this year are Minnesota and Stephen F. Austin. Any SEC team would love to play their schedule.

Year in year out tOSU's schedule sucks. I thought I read or heard that the only reason they play all in state school's is that they are forced too. Or at least that what I hear them claim around here.
