I was reading the thread about the Foo Fighters and it reminded me of a movie I watched recently on Kurt Cobain.  The movie Soaked In Bleach talks about the theory that Cobain was murdered and Courtney Love had something to do with it.  This was the first time that I had ever heard that there was even anyone thought it was anything but suicide.  Just wondering if any of you have seen this or heard this theory before.

The Courtney Love theory surfaced very shortly after the shotgun's smoke cleared.

Kurt was a messed up dude mentally. I think he just took himself out. What a shame. Nirvana kicked ass.

Kurt was a talent but dude was screwed up royally. The other members have accepted that as well.

I have. It was good if you're a fan. Mostly just exclusive home videos, artwork, and recorded diary entries from Kurt.

For a documentary on Kurt's death & Courtney's involvement, watch Kurt & Courtney.

Don't know that I would classify myself as a fan or not, I liked some of their songs... some I did not.

I watched it, I thought it was interesting.

Nirvana may be the only musical act on the planet which I like a lot and yet also think is overrated.

Soundgarden was first. PJ was better and more long term. STP was more stylish. AIC was more grungy and dark.

Nirvana were pioneers and that gateway into mainstream from some underground garage type setting. Music was great. But I dont think they were the end all be all of the genre.

And as youve stated before, that entire decade and genre was a golden era of music indeed.

This is true. But I liked them as GH did.
And the best songs of the Unplugged concert (at least those that leave a lasting impression for me) were covers of the Meat Puppets, Leadbelly and Bowie.

I agree.  I like Nirvana, but PJ to me was a much better group.  Nirvana came on scene at the right time and opened the doors for a lot better groups.  That decade did have the best music IMO, but that was my coming of age time.  I'm sure some of you old bastards would say the same about your own era of music.

Watched Soaked in Bleach the other night.  Courtney had that sumbitch killed and Kurt was definitely NOT fucked up/depressed according to all the people (less and except Ms. Love) around him.

I looked it up and see that's a new one. I'll have to give it a watch.

The one I mentioned earlier in this thread drew the same conclusion.

Finally saw this.  Meh.  Interesting home movies and journal images, but nothing terribly revealing.  Except Courtney's tits...they appear frequently.  Unimpressive.
