This time of year there is little I find more annoying on ESPN than Barry Fucking Melrose. 

The hair. The shitty clothes. The pseudo insider commentary. The ridiculous set ups like Cafe Barry or whatever that ridiculous shit was the other night where he was sitting at s bistro table with a champagne flute in front of him. 

All of it annoys the flaming fuck out of me. It's gotten to where I chsnge the channel the second I see his mug on the screen.

I enjoy hockey and miss the days that ESPN used to actually show it. Now all they show are routine baseball plays and the NBA. 

What other sport lets men wave their shafts around while getting physical with each other?  That's a helluva sport if you ask me.

Funny story though. My dad actually played for UAH and I played a game or two with Auburn's club team. My family is one of the few in the south who really enjoy the sport.

I don't hate hockey.  I don't really care about it either way.  I think it's stupid to still be going on -- just like I think it's stupid for baseball to be going on when it's snowing.  All the pro sports except football are too long. 

NBA should start right after Christmas and be done by April
MLB should start in April and be done by August 1.
NFL should start in late August and end in early January.
NHL should start in November and be done around March (or be the same as MLB). 
NASCAR should fold up the tent and go away.
MLS should move to Mexico

That would solve it.

I've been to two or three pro games. The reason I can't remember is I had to get drunk in order to tolerate it.

I actually enjoyed watching the Atlanta whatevertheyares play the out of town NHL team they played one time. I was sitting next to a really hot white girl with nice tits.

I just can't get into the game. I don't knock another man's sport. I'm not a race fan. Been to several through the years. All were work related. Can't get into it. Enjoy it for a little while and I'm done. Same with hockey.
