Pirates are good too. Not sure about their longevity but they are pretty dang good right now. Maddon has put together a nice team in Chicago. Lots of young talent that could make some noise. Those two along with the Cardinals, looks to be setting up a real strong division for a long time to come.
Not sure how long the Pirates will contend, although they did extend Cutch a few years ago to a long term deal. They just don't strike me as being big spenders. Cubs will be good a long time. Cards will always contend, I'll be curious to see what they do this off season, they just signed a deal with Fox Sports that will give them an additional 30M a year in payroll money.
Who are the Braves playing tonight?
nobody is listening anyway.
In case you missed it, and judging by attendance, you did; the Cubs have managed to win a few games and threaten to climb out of the cellar.
Sooooo.....Jake Arrieta throws a no-hitter with 12Ks against the Dodgers tonight. NICE!
I told Buzz last night that I'm going to really hate playing the Cubs in the NLDS.

You ok Jarhead? At least the Cards didn't get swept at home.
Cardinals, Mets, Dodgers Cubs in the playoffs? I'm sorry but the American can't match that this year.
