Ben Tate

I saw Tate play with the Steelers the other night. he looked OK for what little time he got. Big Ben did throw one short right at the top of the helmet for a deflection and interception, but I could not see where that was Tate's fault.

So would Tate be a good choice for the Falcons? He is a good RB and does not have a lot of wear and tear on him. I know he got injured pre-season at Cleveland and they finally cut him.

But I still think he can have about 4-5 good years left.

Its amazing to me how long Stewart and Williams has been with Carolina with the way players jump around these days in the NFL. With that said, I don't think Carolina is looking for another RB.

I hope the Steelers keep Tate. They obviously need to help at the RB position. With Bell getting injured, the Steeler rushing attack was non-existent.

Falcons need a defense. Haven't had one in forever. Shore up the O-line a little and maybe add a piece here and there on offense and they're fine on that side of the ball.. A lot of weapons and yes, Julio Jones is a beast.

As much as I hate to say this, they need to strongly consider Buddy Ryan. The pieces are pretty much in place for the O and just needs tweaking, so leave it alone. But hire Ryan and give him the tools to build a killer D. He's dang good at that. Just keep him out of the offensive huddle.
