Janikowski was just a big polish meathead. This Wisconsin dude was nothing but blubber. He had a bigger gut on him than Dismukes.

That would be stupid, and poison to the program.

Those players left are certainly looking forward to a better scheme to fit the talent.
I've seen walkons play with more intensity and desire than what I've seen out of the Auburn defense the past couple months.

They can find a scheme elsewhere, if they can't make it back to campus in time.

Yes. Poison the program before you even give yourself chance. Run all those bitches off and just play true freshmen. That'll show their asses!

Five statements of WISDOM
1. You cannot legislate the poor into prosperity, by legislating the wealth out of prosperity.
2. What one person receives without working for, another person must work for without receiving.
3. The government cannot give to anybody anything that the government does not first take from somebody else.
4. You cannot multiply wealth by dividing it.
5. When half of the people get the idea that they do not have to work because the other half is going to take care of them, and when the other half gets the idea that it does no good to work because somebody else is going to get what they work for, that my dear friends, is the beginning of the end of any nation.

I honestly believe that between the base defense switch and new blood in coaching that we will be a respectable d this coming season. We have more talent than we've shown.

Going to the 4-3. alone, is worth 7 points a game.

Thoughts from the (not quite) cheap seats:

Wisky got favorable spots almost every time.
Obvious holding of our defense was not called frequently.
Wisconsin fans are a tubby bunch.
Our playcalling in OT was fucking abysmal.
Nice day in Tampa and had a good time sans the final score.

I would think that 6 months of that kind of fucking winter, combined with nothing else to do but drink and eat would tend to make one large.

First, I don't appreciate the tubby name, when referencing round shaped peoples. Second, I never thought that I'd see sans used on the x, without abelt (as in the slacks) being right after it.

If Auburn's defense improves 7-14 points per game and Auburn's offense can continue to improve, Auburn will be undefeated...until we face a Champion from another conference, in the Playoffs.

I would say they need to"improve". Seems like we took a step back this year.

Re: the o.t. play calling, we seem to all agree that it was horrific. I wonder why? Maybe too much of a reliance/belief on/in our kicker? My guess is that there is too much of the "take what they give us" mindset and not enough of taking what we want. I would've probably given the ball to Cap every time. No imagination, I know.

If so, CAP three times between the tackles would've made more sense

It did for gordon. (all day)

If memory serves their read sweep went for about 20 everytime. On one the Defensive end lost containment and never saw him go by and chased their QB down the line.

Yeah Gimel President started and couldn't contain at all.
On the offensive side Braden Smith started at RT, played well for a series and was pulled.
Apparently we rented Sammy Coates for only a certain number of plays.
I think Duke Williams intentionally and selfishly screwed the team.

I'm disappointed as we all are but what burns the most is what CCTAU accurately pointed out during the Kansas State game with Nick Marshall. And I'm not sure that a few others weren't playing in the same guarded way at various times through the season.
