The CBS A-team of Verne Lundquist and Gary Danielson was tasked with calling Alabama’s 25-20 win over then-unbeaten Mississippi State last weekend, and as always fans had as many opinions about the broadcast team as the game itself.

The consensus among most who tuned in to watch the game is that Danielson is rather fond of the Alabama football program — perhaps too fond. Fans and media members sounded off on Danielson’s love affair with the Crimson Tide on Twitter during and after Saturday’s game.

It's become insufferable. 

More Verne than Gary.  Gary at least is trying to analyze the game.  When Alabama intercepted one of Dak's passes, Verne giggled like a little girl.  Maybe that was against LSU.  But I done heard that fat man laugh with my own ears. 

Gary's worst comment in the Bama-Miss State game was when Dak threw an interception and Gary said, "You just can't beat Alabama with an inferior quarterback."  Such a fuckstick.

CBS also thinks it was ok to just make up shit about Dak and his "estranged" father and what an unfortunate situation it is - ON THE AIR DURING A GAME last weekend (Nov 8th)! Nevermind it wasn't true. Apology? Nada. This story kind of went under the radar last week. It bothered Dak's father enough that he called into Finebaum to dispute the whole thing mid week last week.

I can deal with Gary because most of the time he knows what he's talking about and gives pretty good insight.  They just need to take Verne to the glue factory.
