The thanks need to go to Jmar.  He decided that he wanted to donate the prize from last years battle for the crown to the first X-Gate of 2014.  Maybe this year's winner will do the same.

Was glad to see everybody and the crowd at the X-gate seems to be getter bigger and bigger. We stayed in the stadium through the rain delay and watched the end of the game, by the time we got back most everybody had left, so we hopped in rental keen and went to Opelika to eat. Looking at maiking another game, but trying to justify $225.00 a night for a Best Western in really sticking in my shorts.

You can rent a house in AU if you can find enough people to go in with you.  Better choice than the motel.

I stand corrected: you remain suspect.

You can keep a wooden stake in your trunk
On the off-chance that the fairy tales ain't bunk
And Imma keep a bottle of that funk
To get motel parking lot, balcony crunk.

buzz will go in with you, well not necessarily with you at the same time, but he's probably not averse to going after (going first would be really keen)

I didn't find out about it until this year.  I know when I lived in Augusta, people would rent their houses out for the Master's.

But some people in Auburn take off for home game weekends and allow people to rent their house from Friday-Sunday.  I believe there are some rules and regulations much like a hotel.

A veteran is someone who, at one point in his life, wrote a blank check made payable to 'The United States of America ' for an amount of 'up to and including my life.' That is Honor, and there are way too many people in this country who no longer understand it.'

Keep me in the loop, (as always) transportation has to be arranged.  I think I now have a connection for tickets. (marked-up of course)

Clemson also got beat like 123-10 last year by FSU in Death Valley (snicker) WITH their superstars. They weren't that great last year either. And sure are not great this year. Prob a 5-7 team in our conference.

i said it before that game, I'll say it again. If Gurley stays healthy, the dogs will be hard to beat. Clemson was in that game until Gurley decided to demolish them. The run back was the beginning and it was all downhill form there. It's almost like he got tired of waiting on the rest of the team to help, so he just did it. If we can stop him again this year, i see no Aaron Murray comeback in them this year.

Then again, that game is a long time away. By that time, we may be gameplanning for Chubb.

Five statements of WISDOM
1. You cannot legislate the poor into prosperity, by legislating the wealth out of prosperity.
2. What one person receives without working for, another person must work for without receiving.
3. The government cannot give to anybody anything that the government does not first take from somebody else.
4. You cannot multiply wealth by dividing it.
5. When half of the people get the idea that they do not have to work because the other half is going to take care of them, and when the other half gets the idea that it does no good to work because somebody else is going to get what they work for, that my dear friends, is the beginning of the end of any nation.

Agree.
And while UGA fans might think that their fragile prima donna is a football god he has yet to carry his team for even a few games back to back.

Also not so sure Arkansas isn't a tougher opponent than Clemson.

And color me a LITTLE shocked on the Vols last night. Utah State is a quality team. Keeton is a good player. And Tenn handled them easily. I think Jones is a sound coach. Tenn is the enemy of my enemies, so....I don't mind them doing well against any of our other SEC counterparts.
If Butch Jones gets bowl eligible with nary a starter returning on either line and with this schedule, it might be the best coaching we will ever see especially when there almost has to be some attrition from now thru October. Can't stand Rocky Top but it's like you said...
Just saying.
