I don't see West Virginia pulling it off.
Sure Coker will look like horseshit. But West Virginia's defensive line averages 291 pounds with their NT weighing 298. Bama's offensive line averages 312 pounds. West Virginia's heaviest linebacker is 235 pounds while Alabama's average linebacker is 249 pounds with their lightest being 242 and heaviest being 260. I bring up the linebackers because Alabama and West Virginia run similar defensive schemes and Alabama has been quite good at it the past few years.
The one neutralizing factor is West Virginia's fast, spread it out, throw the ball offense. If once-like-Coker-Florida-St-transfer QB Clint Trickett can make accurate throws, then maybe this is a ball game. But most likely, it'll be just like Alabama's opener last year - boring and slow but a pretty wide margin of victory.
