This Makes It Move A Bit
« on: August 08, 2014, 04:52:52 PM »
From the dot  I am a gay twerker that has no balls!!!!  I also have no idea how to use the quote function to post stories, so I annoy the piss out of others.  I like male genatalia in and around my mouth. of the al.  When a Corch like Garner openly says he likes what he sees...

There's a new challenger on Auburn's defensive line, and he could unseat a projected starter.

Junior college transfer DaVonte Lambert has impressed coaches, and is in line to for the starting job at left defensive end.

"I think he's going to play a major role this season," defensive line coach Rodney Garner said Friday. "In fact, I think he's pushing to be a 1 (starter). He's a 2 now, but he's pushing to be a 1. If he'll keep coming, he may end up being the 1."

Sophomore Elijah Daniel was projected to be the Tigers' starter on the left side after spending his freshman year as a backup in 2013, but Lambert's athleticism, commitment and consistency have given coaches pause following the first week of preseason camp.

Garner credits Lambert's two seasons at Georgia Military College for his consistency, discipline and accountability. "He has a burning desire to be a very good player," Garner explained.

Lambert (6-2, 293), rated the No. 1 defensive line prospect out of the junior college ranks in February, recorded eight sacks and four fumble recoveries last season at Georgia Military College.

"He may not look it, but he's either one or two as far as athleticism in the group," Garner said. "He's really athletic, and he wants to be good. I wish I could take some of his traits and some of his intangible things and give it to some of the other guys. I think it would definitely make the room even better."

Auburn's two transfers from Georgia Military College (Lambert and defensive tackle Devaroe Lawrence) are expected to contribute this season. Lawrence missed two practices and a scrimmage with an undisclosed injury, and is still "gimpy," Garner said.

"Both of them, physically, during the summer, looked as good as our older kids," defensive coordinator Ellis Johnson. "Just moving around, doing drills in T-shirts and agility drills, pass rush drills of that nature. They've got great skill, they've got great talent for their position."

Auburn is in dire need of a strong pass rusher, especially in third-and-long situations. Auburn will be without its two top pass rushers from last season -- Dee Ford and Carl Lawson (14 1/2 combined sacks) -- and Lawson could miss the entire season following knee surgery to repair an anterior cruciate ligament. Ford is now in the NFL.

Helping Lambert's push for the starting job is Daniel's role. The sophomore is more of a first- and second-down player. Lambert could prove to be the pass rusher the Tigers need on third down.

Auburn is also working to polish its "Rhino" package, which includes tackle Gabe Wright at end. Tackle Montravius Adams may also move to end in the package, and linebacker Cassanova McKinzy is providing an option as a speed rusher in the Tigers' 3-3-5 sub-package.

Had honestly forgotten about this kid.  This makes losing Lawson for the season a little more cushiony.

Plus, he's a big ole boy.  I know they're talking about the "Rhino Package", but when have we ever had DE's 290+?  At the other end of the scale is true freshman Rasheed Kenion. (sp?) Garner said he really needs to redshirt and bulk up.  6'6" 225.  But he's so damn fast and quick off the ball...4.6 40...that he may not be able to keep him off the field.
