Pearl Harbor. I watched the premier in Pearl Harbor on the flight deck of an aircraft carrier.

The actors were there, and the Navy put some B-17's on deck to set the mood. Several of us got up and walked away less than halfway through it.

Pearl Harbor was bad, but I never understand the visceral critiques it received. It didn't seem THAT bad to me.

Another one is Armageddon. I get it. It was horrific science and the movie was lame. But some people treat this movie like it's the worst abomination to ever hit the big screen.

Natural Born Killers gets my vote. Followed along with a chick to see it, thinking I'd get lucky afterwards. Talk about a mood killer.

Movies that lubed them up.

Over a period of about a year or so, I took six or eight different girls to see either Officer and a Gentleman or Risky Business. It worked four times and almost worked two others. Those two reined up short of the goal.

In the few months before those two movies became staples, I tried taking one or two to Porky's. I laughed like hell, but they were not amused. I learned from this and changed tactics.

Other than your failure to close the deal, I have to strongly disagree. Love this movie.

Downey, Jr. participating in a prison riot and calling his Asian sidepiece to declare, "I'm coming home to shove a hot pepper up your ass!" is pure entertainment.

Very entertaining movie. I give one shit not about the science. A team of oil drillers saved the earth. Nothing more American than that!

Troma's got some good ones. The Toxic Avenger series is premo. Sgt. Kabukiman NYPD as well.

Also, the entire Killer Tomatoes series.
