Wide receiver Jaylon Denson and linebacker Justin Garrett, both juniors, have been granted a medical hardship waiver and will have an extra year of eligibility after they missed a majority of the 2013 season with injury, Auburn head coach Gus Malzahn said Monday.
Denson tore his patellar tendon in his left leg during Auburn’s loss to LSU on Sept. 21 in Baton Rouge. Denson had just three catches last year before his season-ending injury.
Garrett, who was the expected starter at the star-hybrid position entering last season after a stellar spring, suffered two separate foot injuries and only had two tackles in two games.
Harrell reinjures ACL; Nero to medical redshirt
Fellow defensive end Keymiya Harrell, a junior, also reinjured his ACL in an off-the-field incident, according to Malzahn, and also had surgery.
Sophomore defensive lineman Tyler Nero will take a medical redshirt, according to Malzahn. Nero collapsed on the sideline during a March 27 spring practice and was taken to the hospital for observation.
“He’s going to get his degree,” Malzahn said. “He could possibly help us with football. Great kid. We wish him nothing but the best.”
Nero, a sophomore, played in just one game during his Auburn career.

Just saw that we lost a little depth on the DLine as well.  Tyler Nero is done with football.

Redskins cornerback DeAngelo Hall said, "Guys don't mind hitting Michael Vick in the open field, but when you see Cam, you have to think about how you're going to tackle him. He's like a big tight end coming at you."

Read some where that Alex Kozan injured his ACL and won't be playing this year.  I wonder who will take over the guard spot in his place?  If he is injured, I only saw it one place and can't remember where I saw it.

EDIT:  NM, I just went and searched for it.  It was a message board post over at the scout.  I was thinking it was in an article I read from there, 24/7, or rivals yesterday.  Nothing else has been said about it so I doubt it's validity.  Carry on.

There are gonna be days when you lay your guts on the line and you come away empty handed, there ain't a damn thing you can do about it but go back out there and lay em on the line again...and again, and again! -- Coach Pat Dye

Five statements of WISDOM
1. You cannot legislate the poor into prosperity, by legislating the wealth out of prosperity.
2. What one person receives without working for, another person must work for without receiving.
3. The government cannot give to anybody anything that the government does not first take from somebody else.
4. You cannot multiply wealth by dividing it.
5. When half of the people get the idea that they do not have to work because the other half is going to take care of them, and when the other half gets the idea that it does no good to work because somebody else is going to get what they work for, that my dear friends, is the beginning of the end of any nation.
