ITAT has a thread about an updated roster (that neither ITAT nor auburntigers.com seem to have) that has Parks and Shane Callahan no longer with the team.

Gus Malzahn: Auburn H-Back no longer with program, 'will not be back'

DESTIN, Florida -- Ricky Parks' second chance at Auburn was a short one on the Plains.

The H-Back will not return to the program after he was provided a second chance at walking on with the Tigers in the spring, coach Gus Malzahn confirmed Tuesday before a speaking engagement in Fort Walton Beach.

Parks was a scholarship player at Auburn in 2012 but was dismissed from the team in August 2013 for an undisclosed violation of team rules before his redshirt freshman season. Malzahn did not provide a reason for Parks' second departure from the program.

"He will not be back," Malzahn said.

Parks was battling for playing time in the rotation at H-Back behind Brandon Fulse, who exited the spring as the starter. The 6-foot-3, 268-pound star out of Callaway High in Hogansville, Ga., was expected to be a contributor for the Tigers before his first dismissal in 2013.

Parks played last fall at Northeast Mississippi Community College, where he caught six passes for 59 yards and two touchdowns.

Coaches downplayed his production in spring practices as he worked to get back in the good graces of his teammates and coaches.

A spokesman at Northeast Mississippi Community College was unable to confirm whether Parks had returned to the school after spending the spring semester at Auburn.
