Alabama running back Dee Hart arrested on multiple charges

By Aaron Suttles

Monday, February 17, 2014 at 11:02 a.m.

University of Alabama running back Dee Hart, 21, was arrested Sunday by the Tuscaloosa County Sherrif's Office and charged with giving false information and possession of marijuana.

Hart was booked into the jail at 9:20 p.m. on Sunday and released on a $1,300 bond at 10:33 p.m. Both charges are misdemeanors.

State law defines second-degree marijuana possession as an amount considered for personal use. The Tuscaloosa News has submitted a public records request for documents related to the arrest.

It is the second arrest for the Alabama football team in less than a month. Tony Brown was arrested Jan. 19 on charges of failure to obey and resisting arrest.

A sophomore in 2013, Hart rushed for 78 yards and a touchdown on 22 carries. For his career he has 166 yards on 43 carries.

The university released a statement saying Hart hasn't been with the program since the Sugar Bowl loss to Oklahoma in January.

Saban is now retroactively processing people in addition to his retroactive cease & desists.

Ironic that one of Dee's charges was giving false information. Apparently this goes all the way to the top.

Appears his roster spot was opened after Sugar Bowl to make room for some other soon to be processed 5 star.

Well, Jax State or UNA will get another former Alabama star.

Who?  Dee what?  Oh Dee Hart.  Yeah, yeah.  He was released from the team a long time ago.

Tom?  Tom who?  Al-betar?  Oh yeah, we told that guy to stop associating himself with the university about a while ago.  Way before anyone found out about how the current players like to stop by his place and say hello when they're hanging out at the mall with their friends.

So now the story is that he was off the team after Jan. 29.

Is this true, or is al.com making the dismissal retro so that bama still looks good?

Five statements of WISDOM
1. You cannot legislate the poor into prosperity, by legislating the wealth out of prosperity.
2. What one person receives without working for, another person must work for without receiving.
3. The government cannot give to anybody anything that the government does not first take from somebody else.
4. You cannot multiply wealth by dividing it.
5. When half of the people get the idea that they do not have to work because the other half is going to take care of them, and when the other half gets the idea that it does no good to work because somebody else is going to get what they work for, that my dear friends, is the beginning of the end of any nation.

I will have you know al.com is journalism at it's finest, sir. Unbiased and fair. Just like msnbc and Fox. Just like Al Sharpton and Rush Limbaugh. Your insinuation is deeeeespicabbbbble.

This is the juicy part of the story that I've yet to hear mentioned by Uncle Fester or Rick Karle.
