Is any of that inaccurate?
Well...
I find this one hard to believe.
Alabama is going to sign the number one player in 10 or 11 states
I'm not taking the time to look through each state's top 10 and see where #1's committed, but I doubt seriously that 10 or 11 of them are going to Bama.
And this?
Alabama is signing three of the top five players in the nation.
According to
Rivals, they got one of the top 5 (#1). In the Top ten they also got #9.
According to
ESPN, they got one of the top 5 (#3). In the Top ten they also got #6 & 8.
According to
Scout, they got two of the top 5 (#2 & #4). The only other Top 10 player that's considering Bama is Evans at #9.
According to
247, they got one of the top 5 (#3). In the Top ten they also got #7 & 10.
Don't get me wrong. They're kicking ass, of course. On average, even if we got Evans, if you start at #1 and work your way down, you'll see about 4 Bamas before you see one Auburn.
But I don't know how much hyperbole was from the radio hosts, and how much is K's exaggeration of their account. For example, three of the top 10 (not 5) is reasonable to say.
