Week 10 Fears. Rational or no?

Bielema's a fucking idiot.  Some of these calls are asinine and pompous.  We cannot stop their running backs.  It's not going to happen.  They have two of them and can keep them fresh.  Instead, he's running reverses and halfback passes and onside kicks.

What a dumbass.

The mfer's expecting to be hanging around in the second half. We look to be making that possible by our defensive play.

Is this the official game thread?

So far, Arkansas is proving me right.  We're getting beat because we can't tackle or even get to them right now.  Their running backs are two of the best we'll see all year, and we don't get a hat on them quickly, we're going to be in trouble.

Always have. Don't know what it is with arky and us. Anddddd.....

Tally ran by.  Again.

Played like we were completely bored. Only ran four or five total plays.

And were never threatened.

Bulemia coaches boring ball. They look like Mississippi State used to. Got really really tired of hearing the announcers say how close they are. They aren't close. Not at all. What he's doing there will not work.

Told ya to be prepared to be upset if y'all were saying that you'd be upset if Auburn didn't blow them out or beat them by atleast 30.

Arkansas is a power running game team, Auburn has trouble stopping power running game teams...and covering WRs running slants. Btw, #19 Ryan White has jumped into the Jake Holland boat of players that I can't wait to see graduate (Chad Slade has jumped out of the boat and is standing on solid ground, he's gotten better).

8 wins is above expectations any way you slice it but stuff like the "injury" are just not what I expect from Auburn.

No need to get on that level IMHO.

I couldn't care less if three of our guys fake a seizure at once or we lead with the headgear three straight plays as long as we win.

Exactly...it'll just give some Auburn fans something to bitch and complain about, eventhough we're sitting at #11 and 8-1 with the one loss to then #7 LSU.

Not bitching. Just saying I don't think Gus and co. had to do that but, whatever. Glad that game is over. Hope the trip to Rocky Top is another successful one.

That made me laugh harder than watching Jake Holland take a bad angle.

There's a dead horse out there that's about to get beaten on a lot. RECspn, bammerAL.com, NYT, etc, etc, etc, every sports talk radio in Alabama, etc, etc, etc and finebaum...they'll beat that horse to a bloody pulp, then they'll beat it some more.

Exactly. We all know we get shit for every little thing. Why do something so blatant and so stupid and so pointless and give the talking waterheads something new to fixate on?

A Texas A&M player did the exact same thing against us, yet they didn't even show that on TV. Was all about the horse collar.

Beleima complained about the danger of running the no-huddle at media days. He ran the no-huddle.

He said Malzahn removed the swinging gate play from the game film. He ran the swinging gate on the goal line.

Immediately after was the flop. Malzahn had said at media days that there needs to be a rule about defenders doing this to slow down the momentum. There currently is not.

Troll for troll.

Malzahn apparently denied it after the game. I wish he would have owned it and said "That's why you need to change the rules."

That said, as mentioned, it had no affect on the game, since the quarter was ending and would have stopped the clock anyway.

I did not see the game live, so I am watching the replay on xbox.  (ESPN with their damn New England play-by-play guys - Tessitore must be the token from BC to go with their usual Syracuse guys)

Anyway, they did go overboard over the 3-4 quarter break harping on Swain's injury.  They said he was walking fine after the tackle on the previous play, when he was doing some stiff-legged hobble.  They claimed he was looking to the sideline for a signal, when every defender looks to the sideline for play call.  I wonder if Swain saw the subs going in-out and went ahead and said fuck it I need to get out.  Remember that Arkansas had to swap nearly everyone out from their fake field goal to regular offense - the first down box was set and the ref had already started the game clock.

Of course, Millen played LB at Penn State - so a coach telling him to go down and fake it has an entirely different meaning.

Oh, they came back to it again during the break where the referee was injured.  (He probably faked it too)  If you have a player fake an injury, you do it soccer-style where they return to the game after a quick miraculous recovery.  You don't take a contributor out for the rest of the whole game just to embellish a fake.

And now Tessitore throws in the Pat "Tie" Dye reference - douchebag.  He should know that is not an innocuous reference, given his involvement in the AU-turd and Bo Knows 30-for-30s.

Not a fan of SEC-TV on ESPN if the crews are going to be all-yankee asshats
