Question for Token (Or any other law enforcement folks)
« on: September 27, 2013, 03:27:29 PM »
If someone was going to be arrested in a residential neighborhood (safe area if that matters), would police cars position themselves on parallel streets of that person's house?

The reason I ask is a guy was arrested the other day, and police were staking out in cul-de-sacs around the neighborhood and down my street.

I figured that was to prevent him from running, but wasn't sure if maybe they were looking for someone else.  Like maybe someone else was involved that they didn't find or get....

Dude was arrested for CP if it matters.  Kind of has the neighborhood spooked about what was going on.  Seems that he was downloading webcam videos of teenaged girls.

I'm not a cop, but I did stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night.

No really, I did. I tried to get permission to go to a game this weekend and Snagette kicked me out for asking because it wasn't one of my designated days where....but anyway....

Logic says it sounds like they thought he would be a flight risk and staked out his back alley.  Sounds like you live in the ghetto.  You need to move.

My doctor told me I needed to stop masturbating.  I asked him why, and he said, "because I'm trying to examine you."

I know.  Helena has gone way down hill since they started building their own high school.

Well...I'm actually Alabaster.  Can throw a rock and hit Helena.  Physically.

If the neighborhood is a side by side, and back to back type neighborhood, then yes I would position vehicles on a neighboring street just in case the suspect tried to run out the back.  Every time we serve a warrant, we always send people to the back of the residence.  Always have to watch for runners.

Last year, they built a Dollar General Grocery Store about 1/4 mile from our neighborhood. I was thrilled.  However, as much as I dislike these Wal Marks Extra Light Stores, I have to admit it's been pretty convenient to pop in and grab a necessity here and there.  Recently, I've been seeing this couple walking to and from there.  They walk from a ragged out trailer down the road for beer and cigs.  He's about 6'4" and 147 soaking wet.  Worn out Bama cap and long hair half way down his back.  She....well...peeps of Wal Mart.

I say this because this past Thursday, about 8 cop cars pull up in the parking lot across the street from a house next to the DG.  A friend of mine runs a butcher shop in that parking lot and he did what any good Samaritan would do...broke out his phone and video'd the action.  They had chased 3 drug dealers into this home (I live in a great area) and were lobbing flash bombs or some shit in the house to get them out.  While my buddy is videoing this scene, this couple appears in the parking lot and twice, this woman screaming like Phyllis or Tammy on Finebaum says, "You reckon they's gonna' let us through to the Dollar Store?  Hey...ya'll gonna' let us through to the Dollar Store?"

We're having a HOA meeting this Thursday to discuss gating the neighborhood.

"Hey my friends are the ones that wanted to eat at that shitty hole in the wall that only served bread and wine.  What kind of brick and mud business model is that.  Stick to the cart if that's all you're going to serve.  Then that dude came in with like 12 other people, and some of them weren't even wearing shoes, and the restaurant sat them right across from us. It was gross, and they were all stinky and dirty.  Then dude starts talking about eating his body and drinking his blood...I almost lost it.  That's the last supper I'll ever have there, and I hope he dies a horrible death."

I think he needs to keep the element close as to not lose touch ...being the 1% and all.

He still has to prey on the week and injured.  Remember the insurance companies only care about their bottom line.

So what I'm hearing is that he needs to continue to not sleep when his clients are awake.

I know, right?  I've decided to send the butler up there for things I might need. I'll even let him take the Lexus F Sport since it's just an extra I keep in the garage.  But the first scratch I see on it.....
