Multiple reports have confirmed that Opelika High school senior and Auburn football commit Jakell Mitchell suffered a torn knee ligament and will likely miss his senior season.

Mitchell told AL.com Monday that the knee "just popped on me" during a routine workout. There was initial hope that the injury was not as serious as initially feared. At least one report from Rivals on Monday night quoted Mitchell's father as saying the teen is "devastated" by the injury.

And let me add that I hope that if his rehab goes well, this staff sticks by their offer. I have to say that AU coaches have been pretty damn good in that area from what I recall. Of course, Shon Coleman comes to mind.

BTW...it's supposed to storm for the next 3 days. The 4th is officially flooded out.

I'm not judging them based on the level of their gayness, which I might add that based on this back and forth Conversation in which they've planned their beach trip, it's a very high level.
