This, and the "NEVER AGAIN" quote was more or less a reminder to never let an opponent come back and embarass you in your house when you're in complete control. Same type thing was done after the ULM loss.
As far as the BEAT BAMA thing? Meh, whatever floats your goat. Let's be honest, beating Auburn was pretty fucking high up on Alabama's priority list when Saban was hired, and it still is. Sure, beat everybody, but beat Alabama is a more immediate goal and is a rallying point mentally for the players I think. They relate to that a little better than beat The Citadel or whatever.
