The fucking bastards already 'charge' smokers for the right to use tobacco products!  It's called a tobacco tax!

As a cigar smoker I really could care less about cigarettes but when it comes to tobacco taxes I do have a vested interest in this subject.  I have just about had it up to my nostril hairs with the damn smoke nazis and their government nanny-state schemes funded by tobacco taxes.  I realize that this article is about a British proposal but these shit-schemes are coming our way as seen recently in the failed S-CHIP program that President Bush thankfully vetoed (and Congress then sustained it despite Dingy Harry and the Wicked Witch of the West Pelosi's best efforts).  If tobacco is so fucking bad then just outlaw its use!  But no that can't happen because the dirty little secret is that tobacco taxes are so profitable for the government!  Fucking hypocrites.  They didn't tell us that in order to fund that S-CHIP proposal 21 million more smokers were going to have to be created in the next 5 years.

I have a very bad gut feeling that we are going to be dealt four or possibly eight years of the Hildebeast; the all-seeing eye of Lady Sauron and her federal orcs are going make life miserable for us all but especially for evil cigar and cigarette smokers all in the name of the children.  But they won't stop with tobacco products.

Well...that's my rant...for tonight anyway...

It was gross, and they were all stinky and dirty.  Then dude starts talking about eating his body and drinking his blood...I almost lost it.  That's the last supper I'll ever have there, and I hope he dies a horrible death."

Well, the fucking smoke nazis are at it again this time in France (I don't really care but it could give the Democrats and the RINOs more ideas to implement here):

http://www.nytimes.com/2008/01/03/world/europe/03smoking.html?ex=1199941200&en=61ce7629bdc0ac5b&ei=5099&partner=TOPIXNEWS

I find it amusing that the obviously ill-informed writer states that "more than 70,000 people die in France every year from smoking-related illnesses and secondhand smoke" when there's not one shred of empirical data to prove that second-hand smoke causes anything but irritation to "overly-sensitive" liberals.

Fuck these nanny-state nitwits!

Yall get ready because this is what the all seeing eye of Hillary and her government orcs will be doing if she wins the election this year.

It will be even worse if we have some sort of "national Healthcare" in the US. If the government pays for every doctor visit, there has got to be some type of control on peoples living habits...

You better believe it my friend!  I cannot agree with you more!

The National Socialist (read "Democrat") candidates are already talking about that sort of thing especially the Hildebeast and the ambulance chaser attorney (no offense to any attorney in this group) John Edwards; his plan calls for "mandatory" annual check-ups so you must know there'll be some control exerted over your personal living habits.

I really despise these people.  The government is always the answer for these nitwits

I have been meaning to follow up on this S-CHIP bullshit but thankfully it appears that the Pelosi Congress was not able to override President Bush's veto.  So cigar smokers are safe for another year anyway unless the dims attempt another bill which is doubtful; they'll probably wait to see if the Hildebeast wins the election before they try again:

I have already had my brush with the law this week so it is everyone's job to ensure I do not have one this weekend.

Fly into Indianapolis yesterday jump in a rental car, go to jobsite and freeze ass off.

Take a couple of good cigars with me.

After turning rental car in back at the airport I step outside the terminal and fire one up.  Dumpy woman security guard comes over and tries to write me a $50 ticket for smoking on the premises.  I refuse to give her my license and ask for her supervisor.  She calls for backup and I am escorted to her supervisor by her and three of her friends.
Apparently anywhere on the airport grounds is off-limits to smoking whether it is outside or not.  From the terminal to the parking deck to the grassy fucking plains.  Apparently there is an announcement that comes over the loudspeaker on about a 10-12 minute loop that says there is no smoking anywhere on the property.  I must have missed it when I came in.
They waived the ticket I think because I refused to stop pointing out to them how well they treated visitors and businessmen in their fair city. (sarcasm)

Once again fuck Indianapolis in da mouf.

Hmmm...  Must be a fairly new rule just for the airport.  I didn't have much difficulty up there.  They do have a couple of good steakhouses and nightclubs downtown.  I recall that "Mo's... A Place for Steaks" is cigar friendly at the bar, and down in the center of the city, there's a cigar lounge called Nicky Blaine's that's down in the basement of an old building... http://indianapolis.metromix.com/bars-and-clubs/article/bar-crawl-nicky-blaines/644746/content.  (Wow!  That guy in the photo is all action...)

Made the lead story on the local news in Indianapolis eh?  You and GarMan do know how to win friends and influence people out of town.

Sani, I almost had the same kind of thing happen to me last summer in Douglasville.  Lit up a cigar in the middle of a practically empty parking lot in one of the city parks while I was waiting for my other SCV compatriots to arrive.  A fat ass Douglas county sheriff's deputy waddles his way over to me at some point and demanded that I put it out!  This is outside mind you...in the middle of an empty parking lot.  I claimed ignorance of their insipid ban got back in my car and finished the cigar inside (he didn't have a problem with that...fucking fuckers...I hate that provincial little town and it's hayseed SS).

I am a smoke nazi.  I am the worst kind.  I used to smoke.

I used to smoke Lucky Strike, no filter.  I used to smoke Marlboro reds, lights, golds and greens, Newports, Kools, Benson & Hedges, Parliaments, Camels, Winstons, Pall Mall, Kent and some others.  Were Parliaments the ones that had the triangle filter?

Even though I haven't smoked in probably 15 years, there are still odd moments where I reach for the non-existent pack and wish I had one.

Today, sir, my message is simple. Seegars, cigarettes, cig-a-rillos, roll-ya-own, hookah pipes, and all kinds a diff'rent smokins STANK and I HATE 'EM.   Non-Smoker POWER!

I'm a high ranking smoke nazi official.  I have never had any type of tobacco product.  No cigarettes.  No cigars.  No dip.  No skoal.  No bandits.  Nothing.  I don't have the cravings to smoke.  I don't know what it's like to try to quit.  I don't give a poop.

Most importantly, I have the ability to take money from your pocket if I catch you smoking where you shouldn't be.  And I'm always watching.
