A circuit judge issued the order on Wednesday to transfer the trial from Opelika to Wetumpka, which is located in Elmore County near Montgomery, after prosecutors dropped their opposition to a request by Updyke's lawyers.Updyke's trial is now set to begin on April 8, according to the Opelika-Auburn News.
