I know it will eventually come out but despite appearances, I don't think this was Jacobs' hire.  I think the committee really settled on CGM....for whatever the reasons
There is no fucking committee. Bo's daughter tweeted that it was all a ruse.

Yep. The only other one I would have felt this bad about would have been Clemson's OC.
I wouldn't have liked it any more, but I wouldn't be as upset as I am right now. At least the Clemson OC would have been new blood a fresh start. I could have hope.

Nope!

This is Kiehl Frazier vs Clint Moseley to me. Your fucked either way.

Five statements of WISDOM
1. You cannot legislate the poor into prosperity, by legislating the wealth out of prosperity.
2. What one person receives without working for, another person must work for without receiving.
3. The government cannot give to anybody anything that the government does not first take from somebody else.
4. You cannot multiply wealth by dividing it.
5. When half of the people get the idea that they do not have to work because the other half is going to take care of them, and when the other half gets the idea that it does no good to work because somebody else is going to get what they work for, that my dear friends, is the beginning of the end of any nation.

To my homie Bob Petrino. It could have been beautiful bruh...

Maybe if you keep your nose clean for a few years the dumb motherfuckers that blocked you will believe you served a long enough penance to hire your ass when we fall on our face again. Please don't be mad.
With that said, atleast it wasn't Kirby fucking Smart.

Quote
Forty-nine to nothing was a hell of a score
Saban let off the gas or we could have had more
Scored Forty-two points in just the first half
The barn players looked beaten and I had to laugh
I never saw Trooper whirling his sweaty rag
He may have thrown it in like some kind of fag
I hope they keep Chizik, and that is a fact
A billion dollar buyout on a lifetime contract
Hard to believe two years ago they were on top
Now a three and nine season is a big flip-flop
It just couldn't happen to a much better bunch
And you have figure this was the knock-out punch
And what gets even better for their situation
Is they could be staring at some NCAA probation
They sold their souls for one lucky year of glory
Now they reap what they've sewn...End of story

We spent 11 million dollars to start over, and we get Gus. He'll probably retain Trooper & Luper.

This will be very telling as to who is actually in charge down there.

Would you feel the same way if it were Patterson or Smart? The reason I ask is that I wonder if the outrage is more from the BP at all cost supporters. I had Smart and Patterson higher on my list but BP hire wouldn't have hurt me feelings too much.
No. And because of what Awk said. He is from the chizik regime. Wasn't impressed with the personal issues of dyer, pike or d Moseley. He looks no more to be a disciplinarian than chizik. I hope he is but he gave dyer a chance when even chizik kicked him out of the wild wild west. That's bad IMHO.
