I get all of that.  But my concern is that between Kentucky, Texas (possibly, the natives are really restless) and the others that are sure to be shitcanned at the end of the season, the mad scramble is gonna be on and all the chairs are gonna be taken by the time the music stops, and we wind up with the coach of some Div III college in Bugscuffle, Montana.

I still go back to hoping that those in power(PFD) have known for a while the change will be made and have been doing doo dilleejence behind the scenes.  I've got this feeling that tonight's gonna' be a good night and that Chizik and company already know the outcome.  Just a burrbinz and DCP observation here, but Chizik looked totally different Saturday.  He looked reserved and unemotional.  I recall one play where we got a hold or personal foul that killed a drive.  I believe it was on Dismukes and they showed Chizik as the linemen were coming off the field. It looked like he made a move like he was going to chew some ass but then kind of said fuck it and slapped him on the back on the way by.  Not a word said.  I know it was just me but I really got that impression.

IMO, I think the man has already been told and he's going to be the man of character we think he is and is simply going to work hard the last few weeks to get them ready and "earn" his money.

I really do think Chizik is the man he appears to be on the outside.  In other words, high character, not pounding his assistant or little boys.  Just don't think the man knows how to be a head corch.  But if he has been given said pink slip, I believe the man would work like always til he leaves.

I am witcha.  That's why I am all torn up about this, because I genuinely like CHiz as a person, and respect his integrity.  I am not worried about Chiz throwing a temper tantrum on his way out the door.  His personal faith is too strong for that.

Besides, Mack Brown isn't going anywhere yet, he may still take them to a BCS bowl game.  Beating TT got him a feather.
