Auburn's starting quarterback? Gene Chizik hasn't made the callAUBURN, Alabama – Auburn coach Gene Chizik says he's not prepared to make a call on his starting quarterback tonight, but that could change Thursday.Chizik waited until Thursday last week to say Clint Moseley was his starter at Vanderbilt. He'll again choose Moseley and Kiehl Frazier this week for Saturday's game against Texas A&M. Frazier has missed the last two games with an injury that affects his passing.Chizik said Frazier is progressing in his comeback.Auburn has been dealing with a lot of injuries the last two games, especially involving the starting lineup. Tight end Philip Lutzenkirchen is done for the season with a hip injury. Defensive lineman Jeff Whitaker didn't dress out last week, either."Jeff's progress right now is slow," Chizik said.Defensive end Dee Ford was limited last week and didn't start. Missing from action were linebacker Justin Garrett, defensive back Erique Florence, defensive back Ryan Smith and running back Mike Blakely."Some of those guys are getting back in the mix" but others are not. "A lot of those guys will be game-time," Chizik said.Chizik said Wednesday's practice went well."We had to spend a lot of time for an offense that's a little bit different in terms of tempo," Chizik said. "I thought it went well. I thought the energy level was good. "It'll be a great challenge for us."
I don't know if anyone agrees with me, but I think whatever slim ass chance we have is increased by starting Frazier.
If his head is out of his ass yet, I agree.
Isn't that the "injury" they are speaking of?
+2.6Why does Chizik never talk about injuries? The most you ever get out of him is "We've got some guys banged up".
I think "banged up" is a code word for double secret probation
Well when you gots da gang bangin' thugs we gots then you got to have some codes.
I thought I saw Pat Dye flashing a gang sign last night during his interview.
"It'll be a great challenge for us."
WEST SIIIIIIIIIIEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEDE
Wu Tang muthafucker!
PLAYERS TO WATCHAuburn: RB Tre Mason. Mason leads the team with 474 yards but has wondered aloud why he’s not getting 20 or more rushes. The slippery sophomore has oddly almost disappeared from Auburn’s offense at times in the second half of tight games, but the Tigers need to stick with him more to keep the Aggies’ fast-paced offense on the sideline for as long as it’s close.

If Loeffler doesn't figure out how to keep Johnny Football, and the Aggie offense off the field, by rushing Mason 25+ times, it's going to be a long night.
This pose might work out better...
You will all see me hammered Saturday...not hamnered.
You think we care?
