I think it shows that Chizik is forcing him to focus on un-fucking Frazier.

Loeffler started the season in the box...he was on the sidelines against LSU.  I would expect that Chizik insisted upon the change, since it is Loeffler's stated preference to coach from above.

This turn of events actually gives me hope that the head man is correcting shit.

Newbie here, yes.  Truth seeker, yes.  The mere fact that it took me a while to find this board has little relevance.  I'm a third generation alum,  15+ years season ticket holder, etc.  In all honesty, I have never bought in to Chiz.  I want to, but he hasn't given me anything to bank on yet.  I am a firm believier that Cam won our NC for us - granted, Chiz did a great job of keeping the team together in the face of intense media scrutiny and, for that, I give him all the credit in the world.  Outside of that, his teams have been mediocre, and this team will be his worst.  Too much talent on the Plains to be 1-3.

Post often and post what you wish. Some here agree to an extent. But the ones here that agree, have also been here a while and have a track record with what they are saying. There are too many bama fans out there trying to post shit like this to stir up trouble. I hope you aren't one of them and hope you can bring something different to the board...

As was mentioned about Chizik wanting him to un-fuck Frazier, I'm thinking along those lines.  I don't know if I'd exactly call it troubling, but I do read into it a real sense of urgency.  I don't think it's any real secret that the big question surrounding Auburn football and Gene Chizik is what we really have as a head corch.  Is he really the 5-19 ISU Coach?  8-5 is all we can expect at AU?  National Championship with Cam and 24 seniors?  And sitting at 1-3 and a damn ugly 1-3 at that, it's a legitimate question.

As I've said, I'm on the fence until I see what happens in this game and truth be told, I think that's the case for a lot of AU fans. You go to 1-4, at home against a team playing this damn bad...with 2 weeks to prepare.....  And I think pulling Loeffler off road, speaks volumes, to me anyway, that Gene Chizik realizes he'd better get it done this weekend.
