The new iPhone 5 is just the iPhone 4 with shittier maps, smaller shit on the screen and a connector that isn't compatible with a damn thing I have.

But I got me one! 

Been trying to get it to sync my contacts and music and shit since 10:15.  Spent an hour and a half of that on the phone with Apple.

"Have you tried rebooting ITunes?
Go ahead and close iTunes and restart it.
No change? Go ahead and reboot your computer.
Now restart iTunes.
Really? Turn off your Cloud.
Really? If I were you I'd purchase more Cloud just to be safe.
Really? Go to Control Panel, Add and Delete Programs and uninstall iTunes.
Ok. Now re-install iTunes.
Now. Go ahead and reboot your computer.
Restart iTunes.
Really?  Turn your phone off and on.

Kids have a droid.  I don't like them. 

Not a huge iPhone fan but I got the first one and have swapped every time a new one comes out
(except I don't do the "S" versions).

I pre-ordered the 5 at best buy last week got an email Thursday that my phone wasn't shipped and it could take 28 days to come in.  :facepalm:

Weird.  I just walked in and got one.  No pre-order, no pre-thought actually.  Just kind of an impulse.

I actually love their products from a geek perspective.  Great hardware and fuctionality, just too damned expensive and not user serviceable.
