I got a little uneasy when Santorum took the stage. I was afraid he would get all preacher man on us. He actually held back on the moral stuff some but I did think his tone was pretty decent. He was aggressive. Christie was great, even if toned down. Ann Romney was terrific. That's one nice looking woman to be 65.
But I thought Mia Love and Artur Davis stole the show. I think it's great they are showcasing people that you normally would think would be in the Obama camp (stereotypes and all) and showing how disgusted these people are with him. Very smart play. I also like how they are hammering into the ground Obama's gaffe of You Didn't Build That. I think the ONE will regret ever saying that before its all over (if he doesn't already).
I really could do without Condi, McCain, Pawlenty or Huckabee tonight. I am interested however in seeing Rand Paul, Jindal and Paul Ryan. Also not sure why Jeb Bush is speaking tomorrow night and why in the hell they are playing tribute movies to the Bushes tonight???
I do look fwd to hearing Newt speak tomorrow though.
The media is going to run with that - between the Bush tribute movies, Jeb and Condi.
