One of the hottest prospects in the nation earned his well-deserved bump in the brand-new Rivals100.

Earnest Robinson vaulted up the Rivals rankings after an impressive summer.
Pinson Valley, Ala. four-star receiver and Auburn commit Earnest Robinson was in the initial Rivals100 earlier this year, before falling out in the last updated ranking heading into the summer.

The 6-foot-3, 200-pound Robinson vaulted back into the Rivals100 moving from No. 113 overall to No. 45 overall and is now the No. 4 receiver overall in the updated Rivals100 released on Monday.

Robinson accepted a late invite to the Rivals100 Five-Star Challenge in Atlanta in July and took over the competition. Wowing analysts and players alike with acrobatic catches and great concentration, Robinson is now widely regarded as one of the top rising receivers in the country.

"I'm proud. I'm very happy. I was in the top 100 and then I dropped. They saw me do well in Atlanta and when they saw me perform, I guess that made a difference. It's exciting when people recognize your improvement," Robinson said.

Rivals.com analysts named Robinson one of the top receivers evaluated this summer, saying: The Southeast team at the Rivals100 Five-Star Challenge was loaded at the wide receiver position, but by week's end the 6-foot-3, 200-pound Robinson had separated himself from even that talented group with his smooth style of play and productivity. He was tabbed as the top wide receiver performer from the event and is a prospect whose stock is on the rise heading into the fall.

Farrell said on why Robinson made the huge jump in the rankings, "Robinson was outstanding at the Rivals100 Five-Star Challenge. He has good size, he can go up and get the ball, he runs good routes and he's a bail-out receiver, as I call them. He will catch the ball in traffic and bail out his quarterback on a bad throw. He has a chance to be special."

But not everyone seems to agree with the overwhelming opinion that Robinson is one of the best players in the state of Alabama for 2013, let alone of the nation's top receivers. The Birmingham News ranked Robinson as the state's No. 13-ranked prospect on Sunday. Rivals.com ranks Robinson the state's fourth best player. Robinson isn't too concerned.

"They ranked me number thirteen? Oh. I guess I need to work harder, but that will motivate me," Robinson said.

Robinson wasn't the only Auburn commit making a big move in the new Rivals100.

Alpharetta, Ga. five-star defensive end Carl Lawson moved from No. 91 to No. 14 in the pre-summer Rivals100. He continued his meteoric rise moving from No. 14 to No. 4 overall player nationally in Monday's updated rankings. Lawson remains the No. 1 weakside defensive end.

Auburn, Ala. five-star linebacker Reuben Foster was committed to Alabama the last time Rivals' updated their rankings. Foster, now a Tigers' pledge, remains the nation's No. 2 overall player and No. 1 inside linebacker.

Muscle Shoals, Ala. five-star defensive end Dee Liner dropped a couple of spots from No. 15 to No. 21 overall, remaining the No. 3 strongside defensive end.

Lawrenceville, Ga. four-star linebacker Trey Johnson dropped from No. 42 overall to No. 80 overall.

[NEW Rivals100 2013 Prospect Rankings]

Other top Auburn targets in the new Rivals100 include; Vienna, Ga. five-star defensive tackle Montravius Adams, ranked the No. 2 defensive tackle and No. 16 overall prospect. Adams visited Auburn in March, May, and returned again at the end of July. Richmond, Va. five-star running back Derrick Green also remains the top player at his position and comes in at No. 13 overall. Green recently named a top six that included Auburn, and Green and his parents just visited Auburn for the second time this summer on Saturday and Sunday. Right behind Green in the overall rankings, is Delray Beach, Fla. five-star running back Greg Bryant. Bryant is neck and neck with Green atop Auburn's board, and after decommitting from Oklahoma recently, lists Auburn and South Carolina as favorites.

Newnan, Ga. four-star safety and Georgia commit Tray Matthews also remained in the new Rivals100, coming in at No. 98. Matthews made his second summer visit to Auburn with his family at the beginning of August. Matthews remains committed to Georgia, but the Tigers are making things interesting. Despite a commitment to Southern Cal over Auburn, Elkton, Md. four-star offensive guard Khaliel Rodgers remains interested in the Tigers and may very well officially visit in the fall. Rodgers is No. 64 overall in the new rankings.

The Birmingham News doesn't think an Auburn commit as "all that" as the national guys seem to?

Color me shocked.

Likewise. Hell, they could have jumped to a #1 ranking nationally and still be lucky - damn lucky - to crack the bammerham news top 10.

Sure. Your choice but please no trucks. I see you've talked to Snaggle. I would learn how to do that myself but I'm way too busy posting on here at the moment.

Thank you for my tiger GF and I do not wish to seem ungrateful in any way but I must ask, was the caption of this avatar by any chance "A Gay Tiger". Just curious because he is not quite as ferocious as I would like to project. Regardless, I am proud of him whether he swings both ways or not.

My doctor told me I needed to stop masturbating.  I asked him why, and he said, "because I'm trying to examine you."

Absolutely, no complaints here. I have become much more tolerant since my mid-life crisis began. And he may not be gay afterall. He may just be a tranquil and self-assured tiger that likes to lay in daisies.
